Set up the tracking code between google and etsy

Does anyone know an easy way to do this? I have google set up just not the tracking. I have read google instructions over and over and I am lost....HELP

...wait 24-48 hours before worrying. Nothing will show up before then even if you've done it right.

Did you get a piece of code when you sign up for Google Analytics from Google like this?

1) Copy your code in the third line:
UA-219764444-2

2) Login to your Etsy account
3) Find the "Shop Settings" button in the left menu bar
4) Click "Info & Appearance > Options > Web Analytics"
4) In "Web Property ID" enter the code > Save

I added the web id and now will see if that is what I needed to finish the tracking process. I did get this script that said to add to each page??? I got really lost of this. Do I need this or am I done with just using the web id?

Just an FYI: Etsy's setup of GA isn't 100% right so you'll get weird referral data from traffics sources that make no sense. I did a blog post about it. Reading this will make things a lot less confusing when you get numbers rolling in.
