Set a Goal for June

Hi there,

Setting a goal (no matter how small) can help you accomplish more. Take a moment to settle on your goal and then share it here. By writing it down and sharing with others, you'll reinforce your commitment to it.

A goal can be anything from listing a new item to reaching your 100th sale. For example, this month my goal is to work on my Etsy shop for at least one hour a week. Might sound minor, but those hours will add up!

When sharing your goal for June, please introduce yourself and share how long you've been selling on Etsy.

Hi,
I'm Denis and I am new on Etsy :). I am more than happy to be part of such a fantastic society. Here I found so many talented people and so much love....:)
Unfortunately I have two shops- Orenda Fashion and Infinity Tiffany. My goal for June is to list our brand new items and to improve my Etsy skills :). My goal especially for Infinity Tiffany is to have at least 10 sales.

1.My goal for June was to have 7 sales, but to my surprise I have made 19 sales, this is my best month ever.
2.Also retake some expired items and renew them.
3.List items that are sitting in my 'made' box.

Hi, my name is Michelle
I opened my shop on the 29th of April this year but have not had a sale yet.
My goal from today onwards is to sort out a shoe box filled with beautiful old vintage jewellery. Gently clean each item and then spend some time taking some perfect photographs and then list everything in my shop.

I love the idea of this thread - something definite about putting a goal down and out in the open!! ;o) My shop has been open since 2011 - but I have been trying to update it and promote it more this year.

There are so many good goals on here - I hope this will be the ones I achieve for June:
1) To reach 30 items listed. It may not seem much - but it is to me! (I'm on 24 at the moment - so its achievable - just need some more photographs of products!)

2) To have a sale a week. I would love a sale a day / hour / minute - but I'm not there yet - don't think I could cope. One a week would be nice as a minimum!

3) To dedicate at least an hour a week to creating a new design - without these - I have no new stock!!! :o)

My June goal is to try to get two new listings up and manage to make five sales. It's small I know, but it would make a big difference for me, especially in the moral department. It's easy to feel defeated when my friends and family aren't even supportive enough to look at my shop, and if they won't even look (let Alone buy) how am I supposed to get strangers to?

I started selling a few months ago but I've been a part of etsy for a few years now.

I just opened my Etsy store a couple of weeks ago and my goal for June is to sell my first item! I will be listing more items this month in a broader price range, experimenting with search tags and generally trying to find a formula that works for me.

I'd like to make 5 more sales this month, and I'm shooting for 10 sales in July.
I also have been within the last week adding one new item a day, at least.

I am from Missouri, I've had my shop for about a month thanks to the encouragement of my wife who is on here as well. I do photography on the side and do body work on cars, hot rods full time.

It's already middle of June but never too late to set up a goal!

My goal for June is...
~ list up to 50 items (currently have 34 items)
~ make 5 more sales! (crossing my fingers!!)
~ most importantly, don't get discourage but stay positive!!!

Having my own shop has been my dream forever and it's very exciting to start up. But sometimes I'm afraid if I really can make it happen. So it's very important for me to stay positive and consistent!

I joined Etsy recently, about a week or so ago. My goal for June is to make my shop look more attractive, add more stuff and hopefully make the first sale.

my goals for June are:

-sell more than last month and the month prior to that. (that is kinda my every month goal) but because the winter is gone and people are not really buying leggings to their kids, here is how I am planning on achieve my goal for this June (and summer)


- promoting my items off etsy to have people already engaged on my creation process
- partner up with other shops on several medias for giveaways and gain of new followers
- use photographers for picture perfect items
- tag tag tag, perfect those little words so when end of teh year come my shop can be find easily

and last but not least
sew at least 2 items a day for stock, and do not touch it until November. I should have a pretty good stock for December if I start now :)

I've had my Etsy shop for almost 2 years and my goal is to open a 2nd shop to sell my extra fabric, trims and accessories that I use to make my dog clothes patterns. Also maybe list some of the clothes I've made while making the patterns. I've decided not to sell these items in my current shop because I want to keep my pattern shop cohesive with just selling patterns. So my goal is to get started on the 2nd shop in June and hopefully open the 2nd shop this summer? I've been thinking about this for several months and I'm hoping by writing it down I will at least get started! :)

I have been a member of Etsy for a couple of years, but started selling pinback buttons a year ago. Recently I started also selling Scrabble Tile Pendants.
