Set a Goal for July

Hi there,

Setting a goal (no matter how small) can help you accomplish more. Last month we invited sellers to set a goal and share it with the team. Take a look at last month's thread ( https://www.etsy.com/teams/5002/etsy-success/discuss/14658006) where you'll see many sellers reporting they reached their goals or made some progress they felt good about.

Take a moment to settle on your goal and then share it here. By writing it down and sharing with others, you'll reinforce your commitment to it.

A goal can be anything from listing a new item to reaching your 100th sale.

When sharing your goal for July, please introduce yourself and share how long you've been selling on Etsy.

I'll start. I have been working at Etsy for 3 years, and I've been on the Seller Education team for the last year. I just moved so my goal for July is to set up a studio space in the new place. What about you?

My goals for July:
1. finally improve the pictures of the listed items
2. make the photos so good, that ETSY sellers list the one or other in their beautiful treasuries
3. work again on tags and descriptions to convince buyers
I hope to sell this month :)

Life has kept me busy and I haven't had a lot of time to work on my shop. I have two small goals for this month.

1) Work on the afghan I'm making for personal use
2) Finish writing a crochet pattern for something I've created recently


That's it. July is busy, so I want to keep my goals simple. :)

I've been on etsy for 3 years.
I am a mom and a full time graphic designer.
My etsy site has been on autopilot for a year due to time I needed to advocate for my Aspergers son (who is doing AWESOME!)
Mow I'm ready to get back on track with my etsy shop!

My July goals:
Join this group. Done!
Try etsy ads. Done! 3 sales yay!
Add my new "save the bees" shirt design to my shop.
Update my shop banner design look.
Have more fun with etsy and make some etsy friends : )

I'm a newbie at this as I've only had a shop since June this year. My first months goal was just to get up and thanks to Etsy that's done. My goal for this month is to sell my first item and to go along with this change my photos to a more professional format. I have to make a light box and now thanks to another supportive Etsy seller know how to go about this. So here goes for July.

I reached one of my goals today for July which was to have over 100 views in a day. That was a regular occurrence last year but this year is definitely on the slower side for my shop. I guess I'll keep at it. Good luck in July Etsy Success. Team!

Hello!

Near the end of last month I took a mini class at a local studio on photographing my art. I want to make use of some of the helpful tips I got and to reinforce the lessons by USING THEM!!! Once I get past the last festival for this month (7/12 in NYC), I want to work on revamping my pictures and to get some fresh merch listed. So, my goals for the rest of July (starting on the 14th) is to redo at least 5 listings per day and list at least two new items per day. If you get a chance to pop by my shop, feel free to give me critiques and keep me on task. =) Hopefully the new and newly redone listings will be obvious!

Last year I had 14 sales in july, it would be wonderful if I could have 14 or more! But now I don't have any sale in this month. I'm really worried!

Hi, I've had my Etsy shop for 1 1/2 years. My goal is to revise my titles and tags for at least half my shop and to list 2-3 new items a week. Hopefully that translates into reaching 50 sales.

This is currently a part time passion that I do on the side from from my day job, hoping to one day make it full time. I started this site on May 23rd, 2014 and have sold 13 shirts since then. My current goal would be to:

1. add 10 -15 more designs this month
2. Double my current sales for the month of July

Opened a vintage shop last year and its moving along nicely. What's cool and trick is being able to cross promote each shop among the team I belong.

Been out of my shop a lot since last August when my Mom became ill. After 11 months and getting back in a set routine, truly miss my shop and making creating items for customers.

I've been selling on Etsy for 6 1/2 years. My goal for July is to add 20 - 25 items to my shop. I fired my kiln and have the inventory to do so -- but I need to do work that it takes to create a good listing!
