Set a Goal for July

Hi there,

Setting a goal (no matter how small) can help you accomplish more. Last month we invited sellers to set a goal and share it with the team. Take a look at last month's thread ( https://www.etsy.com/teams/5002/etsy-success/discuss/14658006) where you'll see many sellers reporting they reached their goals or made some progress they felt good about.

Take a moment to settle on your goal and then share it here. By writing it down and sharing with others, you'll reinforce your commitment to it.

A goal can be anything from listing a new item to reaching your 100th sale.

When sharing your goal for July, please introduce yourself and share how long you've been selling on Etsy.

I'll start. I have been working at Etsy for 3 years, and I've been on the Seller Education team for the last year. I just moved so my goal for July is to set up a studio space in the new place. What about you?

My July goal was to reach five sales in one month! I am proud to say that I reached that number!! I have even higher hopes for the next few months!! Here's to August and beyond <3

I've been open a while, but only last year really decided to give my shop more attention. Just the daily check-ins make me more involved and more willing to continue. Then I want to create more!

My goals for July weren't concrete, as on paper and were mostly from my head. But I so appreciate the SMART list! This is something I'll do in the future. I did receive more views and favorites than I ever had before. Every time I'd get close to 100 listings, (my goal no matter what month it is), someone would purchase (yippee!). So that's a goal met too.

August is going to be the 100 Listings goal, and to come to a decision about setting up Facebook. As to sales, well, I'm going to work SMART-ly.

i actually met most of my july goals:
last year i had one sale this year 2 so it´s an increase not only on sales but on money too. i also started relisting my christmas stuff and i finally made it to more than 140 listings (part if that success goes back to having low sales in july but that´s ok) i have also been very creative and have about 10 new items to be listed in the next time (i would like to have them in my shop before the christmas rush starts)
i am also working on my photos and want to build a lightbox (unfortunately my days and weekends are crammed with other important stuff to do but i will find the time to do this)

I opened my shop on June 25. My goals for July were to:
Have my first sale,
Increase my listings to 35,
And develop a prototype.

I'm thrilled to say I met all those goals. I had 10 sales in July, my first one within a week of opening. I also had my first two custom orders, first two reviews and first international order, well kinda ... It was an APO address.

I love to embroider and knit very much. It will be fun and share my creations so I am super happy and look forward sales in te next couple of months!

I actually hit my 150 sales goal! I'm at 161 actually and one of the sale was for 9 cards!

Well, my July goal helped, I did end up getting out 7 new products within the first part of the month and I did get more than 500 views. As to the 3 sales, those didn't happen. But I did end up making more contacts for local retail stores to sell my product and made in-roads with a local Oakland clothing designer to display our products together in a show. All in all, I think it was a very productive month for my jewelry line.

Hi, All! I'm just reporting in that I accomplished my goal for July. It was to put the finishing touches on both my shops and then to create my facebook page and pinterest board. I did both and sent the links out to my network via facebook and e-mail. I feel good about getting it all done! I even ordered new business cards with my websites! Now, I did to set a goal for August...hopefully, I'll sell my first piece!

I'm new, just started a shop on July 8th and would like to have 100 photos up by the end of the month. I'm really hoping to have my first sale by then too. I feel things are going so slowly but I'm hanging in.

Hi,
My goal is to list more unique antiques and collectables that others will love as I have.
Also Australian opals/jewelry as there such a delight.
