Set a Goal for July

Hi there,

Setting a goal (no matter how small) can help you accomplish more. Last month we invited sellers to set a goal and share it with the team. Take a look at last month's thread ( https://www.etsy.com/teams/5002/etsy-success/discuss/14658006) where you'll see many sellers reporting they reached their goals or made some progress they felt good about.

Take a moment to settle on your goal and then share it here. By writing it down and sharing with others, you'll reinforce your commitment to it.

A goal can be anything from listing a new item to reaching your 100th sale.

When sharing your goal for July, please introduce yourself and share how long you've been selling on Etsy.

I'll start. I have been working at Etsy for 3 years, and I've been on the Seller Education team for the last year. I just moved so my goal for July is to set up a studio space in the new place. What about you?

I am recently new to Etsy but I am enjoying it very much. My goal for July is to add more items and also to focus and arrange my in store items into clearer sections.

Also asking my customers what they like and would like to see more of.

I opened the shop last year but only the last month I posted the first 30 items.

July starts my push to increase inventory in my shop for the fall selling season. Listing as much as possible is my goal this month. I would like to have at least 500 listings by September 1

Listing 10 new items this month; Making 5 sales this month without buying into a BNS; improving my photography on 5 existing items. I've been an etsy seller since 2010. I closed my shop for almost a yr while we moved from Al to FL and renovated an old house. It hurt my business tremendously, and only within the last 6-8 months have I seen a little more traffic and sales.

Hello,
I opened my Etsy shop in 2011, knowing I wanted to have one but not knowing what I wanted to make or sell. Since having my little boy in March I have had so many ideas for my shop and all of a sudden things were on a roll.

I have spent June making the Hybrid Infinity scarves and am now ready to start selling them. yay!

My goals for July are:

1) Get my 1st sale
2) Have at least one sale a week
3) Go find some more exciting materials around town
4) Help someone else reach their goal
5) Post at least one new item a week

I have been an etsy seller since the end of January and I have really enjoyed creating things for people as well as being apart of such a fun community.

My July goals are to:
-Have at least three sales.
-Post at least five new listings
-Work on marketing
- and re-take pictures of some of my listings.

My goal is to reach 60 sales...I have 17 right now. I have been on Etsy for about a month and am still trying to understand the best way to be involved in the community, to get orders, etc...so, on that note, my second goal is to learn the ins and outs of Etsy...If anyone has any advice, I am totally open to it!!!!

My goal for July 2014 is to....

1) Reach 500 views (Almost reached that goal in June with 465 view)
2) Have 3 sales (Already have one, so only 2 more to go!!)
3) List 5 more items

My goal is to set aside some Etsy time in my super busy schedule and finish editing pictures and listing new items.

I find that managing time is so hard!

1) to get at least one Review
2) to get a total of 60 sales (43 so far)

I opened my shop in the fall of 2013, but really just got going in June 2014. My July goals are to
1. Make my first sale. I've gotten a good bit of views, but no sales yet. Trying not to get discouraged!
2. Build up stock - at least one more of every type of item
3. Focus on networking through social media sites
Though I work full-time and do Etsy on the side, I've been really trying to as much time and energy on it as possible. I'm hoping it pays off!

Hi! I just opened my Etsy jewelry shop in early June so I have a laundry list of goals! I'm a teacher and need to make the most of the next two months. My main goals for July are:

1. To finally fill out the "About" section of my shop profile.
2. To make my first sale. I have a decent amount of views so I'm trying to be patient.
3. To list the remaining pieces I've completed in addition to the 48 currently in my shop. I've been adding more daily but still have 70-80 additional items to list.
4. To develop a social networking plan and look into additional Etsy groups that would be helpful for a newbie like myself.

I have three goals to get this July:
1st- Get to my 15th sell (I am 9 now, fingers crossed!)
2nd - List to 50 products
3rd - Take better pics for my current listings and upcoming ones.
