Sale- Price Slashed Feature

I think it would help our customers if there was a way for us to show the origianl price of an item - perhaps with a strike through across it- next to the new "sale" price. I want to put up a few items for sale, but there isn't a way for me to show the customers how much I've lowered the prices. I would like for them to see what a bargain they are getting. Any suggestions?

However, I'd prefer to see it above the sale price on the side too.

Apparently, they used etsyonsale.com to do that automatically. They still can't do it on the side where the actual price is.

Yes, Etsy on Sale will help you with that. It will show you what the original price, although it isn't free. They give you 5 credits to start, and each sale that you run is 4 credits. I used it once and I thought it was pretty good. You should look into it.

I use Etsy on Sale and I love it.
With Etsy on Sale, you can out your entire store or just a section "on sale"
It is rather inexpensive and can drive sales.
I am currently running a "March Madness Sale"
I have the title of the sale in my descriptions.
You can try it out. they give you 5 credits and I think it only costs 4 to run a sale.
