SEO and seeing changes in searches

I've been slowly but surely updating my SEO on some of my products and making sure that the titles and tags match, etc.

Now patience is not a virtue I hold, and I expect to see a sudden increase in views (I know, I know, I need to work on that).

So, I was wondering, how long does it take for new SEO to kick in once you have changed it? Curious, because the patience thing, and I want to see if some of the new titles and tags I used would be "search worthy" and I would get any hits off of them.

I've read around 1-2 weeks.

You get an initial boost when you list or renew, but then it takes a week or two as Joanne said for it to reach it's full relevancy. Think of it kind of like listing a whole new item - to the Etsy search, for any changes you've made, it is like a new item, and will need a bit to rack up signals to the algorithm (clicks, hearts, etc. from search)

1-2 weeks sounds about right. I updated most of my titles descriptions and tags last year and noticed and increase in traffic around 2-3 weeks later. I have increased the number of my listings since last year which accounts for some of my increase, but my traffic this year is at least 3 times that of last year.

oh boo! was hoping it was a little more immediate. Oh well. I'll wait the 1-2 weeks and see how my tweaking works!
