I just noticed the "Registry" link to the left of the "Community" link. Is this new, or have i just not noticed it until now?

It seems like a great idea and I'm wondering if anyone has seen traffic from it, and/or if you are notified if your item gets added to someone's Registry, like you are when you are added to someone's Treasury?

I doubt I'll get much traffic or any sales from it, but it will probably be good for people who sell home decor, furniture, glassware, and things like that. My fiance and I just put some cool handpainted wine glasses on ours.

Ah, I just checked my STATs and I have 2 views from "Weddings" which is apparently Etsy Weddings.

I think this is a fabulous idea, but I'm curious why they limit it to just weddings? It would be great if they extended it to Showers, Birthdays, Wishlists, etc. That way those of us who sell more than just wedding stuff could get a piece of the action :)

I imagine they'll eventually start branching out further. It just takes time to develop :)
