Racking my brain...

...in coming up with a domain... (hey, that rhymes!)

I used to own a .com for my shop name a while back and there was a point where I couldn't afford to keep it anymore, so now I would have to purchase it for $3,000+ and I definitely don't have the funds for that, so I have to get really creative.

I still want to have "Flowerleaf" as my shop name, but need to add something before r after the name so I can still register for a .com. I was thinking Flowerleaf Artistry, but when I look at both words together as a url, "flowerleafartistry," I can't get past the fact that the word "fart" sneaks its way in there. That pretty much takes away using any words that contain the word "art."

I will be selling both my jewelry and art on this website, so I can't just use "Flowerleaf Jewelry, or anything that pertains to only jewelry, or only art.

Other ideas I have come up with:

Artistry by Flowerleaf or Handmade by Flowerleaf (both seem rather wordy?)
Flowerleaf Handmade
Flowerleaf Designs (I am just not that keen on this one, for some reason)

Am I just being too picky? I would like to come up with something I can hold onto for a long time, so if anyone has any other suggestions, I would love to hear them!

Re: Racking my brain...

I know the feeling. I had to change my name for that reason. It all worked out the in the end and I was very happy that the fella sitting on my domain name wasted his money.

Re: Racking my brain...

Melissa ~ Thanks so much! :-D

YayBeads ~ That's good to hear. I highly doubt anyone will buy my old domain for that price either, unless some very rich lady who wants to start a Florist business decides she wants that as her company name, haahaa!

BeaG ~ I hope so! The domain is the first step and now the rest is where the real hard work begins!

Now I am wondering if I should change my shop name on here to keep my brand consistent... :-O ;-)
