Hi guys,
I had some time this week and got inspired to do a video for my youtube channel. It was easy to do, but took some time and hopefully it will bring some traffic to my shop and improve my SEO.
So this is it:

It was a bit difficult to get over showing my face on the internet. But it's done and now I want views...
This is how I did it (there are lots more ways of making such videos):
- Download Ap Lapse it with your smartphone (I'm sure there's something similar for the Iphone)
- There is a free and a pro version. I realized I really wanted to do this, so I spent the $1.99 for the pro version.
- The pro version allows you to take bigger pictures (but I wouldn't go for the biggest sizes, it's not necessary and might use up your memory space) and some other features such as adding music
- You will also need a tripod or something to hold your phone in place (I used a sat nav holder)
- the ap is really self-explanatory, you can set how many pictures you want taken, and then displayed later on in the video
- music is good. However, don't use just any music, it's highly illegal! I did a search and found a composer who offers free music (in return for credit in the video): incompetech.com and I found that cheerful song by a search for the mood I wanted.
- So "render" the video, upload to youtube, tag and describe well on youtube.
Some more information (including the first two trials) on my blog:

I don't think this will give you short-term sales success, but it's interesting to watch and proves you're an actual artist who knows their stuff. Also, the sales fairy was rewarding me, I heard the cat-ching when I did the first trial (and had to restrain myself from walking to the phone and looking it up for 2 hours!).
