Advertising on Polyvore

I have been a member of Polyvore for years, before I even knew about etsy, I have not been quite as active in the last 2yrs. Lately,I have notice items from etsy. If you use this site for advertising,or have any information. Please give me your input.

I have emailed them several times to get advertising information on their site, with no response. How does it work, cost? Is it worth it, meaning do you get alot of traffic, sells from Polyvore?

Hi! I also have been a member of polyvore, in fact I used way before I even knew what etsy was! Anyways, you can put your own items on polyvore with their clipper tool (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/clipper)

What that does is it puts your items in their database, so when people search for something that matches your tags, your item will show up. I have a few people using my items in their set, but so far nothing really happening. Then again I don't do much promotion on polyvore. But it's still a good way to get your store items out there, and its free, so why not? :)
