Problems with USPS Click N SHip

Maybe you've already figured this out but after two days of problems getting shipping labels to print, I finally chatted with USPS. Was told it is a site problem that is fixed for now by clearing your cache and cookies ( saved passwords and autofill). I use Google Chrome, so did that and was able to proceed. Just wanted you to know if you've encountered similar frustrations.

So nice of you to post! I don't use Click'N'Ship, but have been having trouble entering Etsy addresses into Paypal multi-order label printing--they all come up with error messages. It's very frustrating!

LaurasLastDitch--are you avoiding using Paypal's labels?

At this point, I'm using them for items people used Paypal on. I used to use Paypal Multi-Order Label Printing for Etsy Direct Checkout items, too, but now anything I'm manually inputting an address for gets an error message. I haven't tried it for a week or so, though. Anyone know if the glitch is fixed?

That happens to me about once a week. Several times I have had to go to the post office and pay - which costs more! They don't offer the discount in person. Grrrrr.

I use PayPal labels straight from the order. I use multi-order shipping for items that are not Etsy related, and it does not allow you to use more than 40 characters...so today, while trying to use a Law Firm as the recipient I had to abbreviate the name of the partners...HAHAHAHHA, bet they will love getting left off a list they worked so hard at getting on to!

I made sure the one Atty. was listed that would receive the envelope!

LaurasLastDitch--I rarely have that issue with addresses I copy and paste from Google Checkout orders or buyers who make their payment by mail. Maybe you are copying in an invisible character--like a tab or a line break?

Sometimes when I use the ship-now thing on Paypal ( http://www.gotogreatpanes.com/blog/2009/08/25/shipping-through-paypal-regardless-of-how-the-customer... ) I have an issue with someone having used a O instead of a 0 or something, but it's pretty rare & easy to fix.
