Postage Machines and options

Hi all! I'm just starting to get things rolling with my shop and I need some guidance on postage machines and/or shipping options. Thanks in advance for any help or guidance. My questions are-

What postage machine (if any) are you using and why?

Do most people print out the shipping tag right from Etsy?

Is there any particular option that is more cost effective then another?

I definitely want the ability to track and have insurance on my packages going out.

I just print the label from Etsy. Seems to be the cheapest way to do it.

I did buy a postage scale off of Amazon for $17. Love it. Best purchase ever.

Same as Julie. You can't beat the commercial rates and the insurance rates that Etsy offers. I also will use Paypal shipping if I need to break an order into two parcels. The rates are the same but with no insurance

I use the Etsy shipping too, with a postal scale similar to that above. Works fine.

I am considering getting a Dymo label printer, as it will save me money on ink, tape, and paper in the long run.
