Opening a Second Store

I'm thinking about opening up a second store. I have baby items, along with things for toddlers and mommies. I feel like when you look through my store you get lost at what I sell overall. I wanted to know what you guys think and, if I should open up a second store what should I sell in the second store.

Hi Olivia-
I wouldn't...it's soooo much extra work. I think your target market is moms and all of your items fit your market. As long as your backgrounds stay cohesive, I think you're good. Perhaps there could be a slight reorganization instead. (I've changed my shop order a billion times...I might never be satisfied! :) )
I've seen some people line similar items up by row which can help. I suppose if you'd like, you could rework some of your shop sections to be, for example:
Toddlers, Babies, Moms, Toys, etc....
I think you have great items.

Thank You. I just changed some titles around and I'm not to sure how they will work. People are telling me that I should just take a week or two off and take a breather. I don't want to do it so early in the month/ year right now.

I had the same concern selling stuff from different categories before, too, and had even created a thread about it, too! The conclusion I have gotten was that as long as your shop looks cohesive with all of your items, you should be fine :) Besides, more items targeting different buyers can actually drive more traffic to your shop. Also, it seems like most of the people who visit my listings come by searching the keywords, so they probably already know what they want when they land on your shop instead of browsing and shopping as they go.
