Online Sales Suffering. Not sure what I'm doing wrong :(

I realize that this is the age old question but here we go. My sales online are suffering. And for the life of me I can't figure out why. I don't think it's my products since I'm nearly cleaned out every time I vend a convention within the first day or two. But I'm just not brining in the online sales. It's very troubling to me. I just don't know what to do! Maybe I can't see what's wrong so that's why I'm posting here to ask you guys your opinion of my shop. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

From what I am reading, many are suffering from this same situation. I know my sales are low and I've spent a lot of time enhancing photos and networking. Not quite sure which direction to take from here.

Agreed. It just depresses me when I see others doing really well and when I ask for advice they tell me the same generic things I'm already doing. Which isn't working.

I'm told that summer is a "slow time" but I find it hard to believe that ALL of us are feeling the crush in the same way...

I'm in the same boat as you two - low sales, not sure WHAT to improve, since I am constantly finetuning just about everything...

It might be the misspelling in your shop name?

People, especially on the internet, don't like when someone who should be viewed as professional misspells things. Especially important things like their shop name.

Unless it's meant to be spelled to create a sort of parody of the word. If it is, I would mention it somewhere in your shop's About page or shop announcement just so they know it isn't a mistake.

Also, your website's URL is spelled the right way... so maybe customers are confused and think since the names are different they are different people? Or, they can't find your Etsy because they're searching for the name spelled the correct way.

Lots of possibilities.

I just looked at your shop and maybe it's just me, but all of you pictures look alike. Busy, busy backgrounds, a lot of the same colored products, etc. I think I would try to simplify pictures and see if that helps. Good luck.

Your target market is very specific so i would recommend to take hardcore photos
darker ones
you know more into cyber goth culture, you have to target ppl searching on google so your photos has to be appealing to your target market

you could ask for a friend to pose with goggles and the full outfit
i bet you will see serious changes to views + sales:-)
