This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media

I finally hit 100 listings! WooHoo - I have many one of a kind listings, so I think it may be a chore to keep up the 100, but I finally made it!!!!!

I've just recently reached 225 sales and I am so excited... hoping to reach 250 now by the end of the year. Wish me luck!

$1 from the sale of each of my knitting rings goes toward buying sheep for families in Ghana. November sales of my knitting rings has been enough to purchase 2 more sheep, totalling 9 sheep so far this year.

I'm celebrating because in the last two weeks I have made my first sales and there were people I didn't know! Yay me :D

I'm celebrating getting my first Cyber Monday sale! And my shop views and favorites continue to grow. I've been putting a lot of energy into my shop this year and I'm starting to see results. My goal is to get at least 2 more sales this holiday season.

I officially have 100 items in my shop! I am so excited! It has taken me quite some time to get to this point but I am sure it will be worth it!

I'm celebrating 5600 sales this morning. Why? I had a goal of 5555 sales by the end of the year and I've surpassed that and then some. Yippee!

Hi guys!!!! we opened up our shop two months and barely got any views for awhile. Finally made two sales last week!!! We are super excited. We are still learning and would love some feedback from everyone. check out our page.

sold my first physical item today! so happy!! I really thought they would all expire before someone bought them so was an extra nice surprise when 2 sold at the same time!!

So excited that I reached my 60 sales goal… I know it's not a lot, compared to some other shops but it was a small goal for me! With the thousands of shops on this site I feel happy that people are noticing my things. Not sure how to increase sales… I'll just keep plugging away. I'm trying to use social media a lot more, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook and my views seem to be increasing. I'm open to any advice… so take a look and let me hear any ideas you might have! Thank you!!!

So happy to read about everyone's successes! I hope that everyone continues to receive more sales! November started out very slow for me but now I'm blessed with sales. Learning how to take better pictures of my soaps and write better descriptions. Also have been tweaking descriptions, that all helps with Google placement and increased views. Etsy is the best!

Friends, On December 4th at 10:00 pm I had my 1,000 sale. My husband and I were getting ready for bed and he heard the "cha-ching" on my phone with me so he got to share in my excitement. It took me 17 1/2 months. (I know it says my store opened October 12, 2012 as I tried to sell one thing then but quickly knew it wasn't for me. It was June 20, 2014 when I put my first embroidery design up for sale. Wish I could change that date stamp on my page) Anyway, I've seen steady growth over the past 17 months and I truly hope to double my sales this next year. Reaching 1,000 was an exciting day for sure!!

Thanks Etsy, One of my knitting rings was on the front page yesterday translating into over 1000 views and orders per hour.
Just taking a coffee break right now beofre continuing to saw , file, sand, forge and polish.

I had my first in-person sales this past weekend, tabling at a holiday marketplace using my Etsy card swiper and app. I love love it and love how I can sell off my Etsy site real time! Don't get rid of his feature for sellers, EVERRRRRR!

Doing the river dance in my office right now. I reached 500+ views on my site in just under two months which was my personal goal. I'm brand new to ETSY so I don't know if that is something to dance quite yet about, but hey it sounds great to me and one should never miss an opportunity to do a little jig every once in a while. Also had a few sales which was fantastic. Really enjoying being on ETSY. Great support and great connections.
