Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

So excited!!! I just made my first sale today!!!!🙆 I have been a new shop for a few weeks now and was feeling a little discouraged. It came at a perfect time!!! I immediately shipped it and put in a special gift for my first time buyer!!! I really hope she loves it. And I really hope it makes it there okay as I sell lamps and it is glass. Fingers, toes, everything crossed for a successful delivery!!!

My milestone is that I'm still here despite some road bumps. I quit my day job back in 2014, and although some months have been very tough, with the emotional support of my family, I have managed to make my dream a reality. I don't do this for money, I do it because I love it.

Through the years I have learnt so much about business and learnt from my many mistakes I am finally in a position again where my focus will be on the creative part of my designs and my SS18 collection will be bigger and better that ever before. I believe that my loyal customers (which make up 70% of my sales) will love the new creative direction.

Thank you all for sharing your wonderful stories. It's great to know that we are not alone in our struggles and our successes.
