Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

Hi Etsy Success Team.

I'm brand new on here - I opened a shop a few years ago but never listed any of our products - thought it was time to give it a try...
So far 0 sales to celebrate but I have 60 items posted in my store front so that's my milestone (actually adding a product!)

We make handmade and machine-washable buttons here in South Africa.
Hope to be celebrating our first Etsy sale soon.

I joined Etsy in 2013, mainly to search for inspiration for my personal gift ideas. I recently opened my shop, so there's still lots to learn. I haven't got any sale yet but will put more effort in this.

I love everything handmade so I am expecting lots of fun through designing and selling on Etsy!

I never would have thought I would have 57 sales as of today, I opened my shop in August 2016 and I continue to add and focus on my customers styles and needs. This year I made the decision to work for my dreams full-time.
It's only been a month, but so far it is proving to be the best decision I've ever made. Being able to focus on my designs, photography, and customers throughout the day is an incredible feeling. I've created more than I ever have, sales and social media are up, and I have this exhilaration every single morning I wake up.
I can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings!

Same here. I just started my shop about a week ago. Haven't made any sale yet but I'm excited to work on the projects I love, instead of a 9-5 office work I've been doing for years. And I've learned a lot along the way! :)

As I celebrate the 42th anniversary of my moving to which is now my country, I have decided to start my own company, Simply Maria, which is also a way of honoring all the strong women that influenced my life. Those women that possessed honesty, passion, creativity, fortitude and determination; all traits that I am proud to share with them and for which I thank them.

I opened my shop in 2011, but decided to put it on hold while my kids were little. They are now old enough for me to resurface (yay!) I still haven't re-opened my shop, but I'm getting ready to. Just finished writing my About section - major win (boy was that hard!) Now I just need to get some products listed ... :)

Today is my official 1 year anniversary joining Etsy, woo hoo! I did not start listing consistently until April 2016 (I think we only had 30-35 items from January to then until we "learned the ropes") but the shop has far surpassed my expectations! I started it with my mama as something fun for us to do together after we found out she had cancer in late 2015 when I chose to quit my job and be her full-time caregiver. Sadly she died in October and continuing the shop has been the only healthy outlet which has helped to keep me going since then.

We are approaching 275 sales and have 174 five-star feedbacks which is amazing considering we were closed for 40+ days in the fall as well. I love Etsy! I wish all the new shops here the same or better success that Emporium314 has been blessed with!

Today is the day I am thinking of promotional listing! I opened my shop in August last year and up until December I had 35 sales;)))) I was so lucky to be featured on Etsy Locals page and I think that helped a lot! I have had no sales in January and need to think on my feet how to keep it going! I will keep a positive mind and work for the future. x

When i wake up in the morning, The First thing i want to accomplish is a positive thought, about where the day may take me. Certain ideas, Created by the minds of people who Only surround themselves with positive thinking. Being able to Create a fashion essence , a blink of Style mixed with an inferno of confidence , This makes me Smile.
Not sure why I feel like this is my goal, But making the world just a bit more Fashionable, Could be the Start to making it more confident..

400 Sales was a thought through the process, Reachable and now achieved it's more then what it was. It's the Start of Bigger thinking , The beginning of my era, This is what people will remember me for.

I started out with 5 Vintage Pieces and Less then $12.00 ...
The first sale was Canadian carharrt Denim Overalls.
As i was listing my 2nd Piece on Etsy, I noticed i didn't have anything Posted for some reason..?! Didn't Realize someone Had Already purchased the overalls...

I want to say Thank you to Etsy.com, Everyone who has an account, supports the community and Vintage clothing. This is not just a Job for me , Not even a Career... This is my Study, My Craft, My Label Behind My Neck.

The next time I write in this discussion will be When i know the accomplishment was earned with the Mind and Knowledge , Not with money. "Money is only the Product of Ones Success"

Well done on your sales target Michelle. I've been fortunate this month to be featured in a few massive blogs since christmas so I'm thankful of the busy traffic, yet just 2 sales. Which is really much better than where I was at this time last year. I'm just hoping they all pop back later in the year.

Hi Etsy-friends. I am new to this group and I started in may 2016. I have reached 130 sales so far. Yeah!!! Hope to do as well in 2017. I learned a lot from what sells and what does not! Hope to reach 400 sales by the end of the year! Or more haha! Etsy has been a great experience so far. The people are very kind and sweet. I love it much better then Ebay, although sales might be better there.
