This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media

Just reached 100 sales! This is a target that I wanted to reach by the end of the year and I've just made it!

Next years goals are 200 listings and another 100 sales (maybe?)

Hello there, my name is Barbara Roberts and the name of my shop is BR ClayWorks. I sell one of a kind, signed and dated, old world santas, fishermen and mummers. What makes my items different is that they are hand sculpted individually from clay. The old world santas were often made from chocolate molds and called chalk ware but I do not use molds. I am new to Etsy, signed up in Sept but really started promoting my shop in Oct. The most exciting highlight for me was hearing the "sound" of the cash register when I made my first sale. I have made 9 sales in all, and the last one was an order of 6 of my figures. Now THAT was probably the most exciting. I have done several Craft Shows in the past 2 weeks and I sold 70 figures and now I have just a few left. I will start making more in January. I want to put an update on my shop but the page won't allow it....any ideas how to let people know I will be replenishing in January? Ok, that's my story. ...so happy with selling 9 figures on Etsy abd I LOVE the sound of the cash register. 😊

I reopened my shop (I previously sold a little handmade plush when I was a mum-to-be ) in July 2015 to sell Resin Botanical Jewelry, I dedicated my little time (I am an aesthetical doctor...) to my adored shop with my best efforts. I've always had a major creative side to complete myself and relax too: writing books, dancing, tailoring...then I discovered my passion for flowers! I celebrate the curve of my shop stats, every month rising high, and now at 34 orders and 15 five-star feedbacks! Oooooops...!!!! A Cha-cha-ching right now!!! 35! I love Etsy....

As of today, my shop has 700 sales and 501 orders. 308 were this year. Shop opened in Oct 2012 with total of 6 orders that year.

I've learned so much so don't get discouraged everyone. Keep on going.

Incredibly happy for me and my shop. After a longer silence period and some personal and professional struggle I finally managed to make new collection for 2017 Weddings. At one point I was thinking i will never make it. But it's on, we had photoshoot and now I am starting to upload items in my shop. Really, really happy!

I have slowly been working to revive my shop after a difficult one year hiatus. The time off allowed for some reflection and the pieces created now include bracelets and necklaces to complement my earrings; a goal that I had been meaning to meet since my shop opened in 2014.

Hi everyone! I am from India and are very new to Etsy :-) I make and sell products form waste vinyl records and CDs. We have been on Etsy for less than a month. My goal is to get my first order on Etsy before 2016 ends :-) Let's hope it happens!

I had an amazing end to the year with hitting 3000 sales not too long ago and going on to have the best December so far. (Although my shop opened in 2006 with the best of intentions it was pretty much empty until 2012 when I finally quit my full time job and got organised)

Etsy has been somewhere I can experiment and really pull my different ideas together on so many different products to create a cohesive range and style... I can't imagine how else I would've done it so thank you ETSY!

This is my first Christmas in which I had a bunch of orders to make. Kind of exciting. I was feeling the pressure.

Celebrating because the Messy Bun Beanie trend did awesome things for my shop!! I had more views and made more money in 3 days, than the rest of the year combined! I had to turn away custom orders!! It was completely awesome!
But now my shop is quiet again, and I'm hoping that I can translate some of my success to make more steady sales throughout the year!

I've been an established shop on Etsy for over 5 years now and just passed my 1000th sale! Never thought I'd see the day where I could say that magic number! Despite this strange fluctuating year, hitting that milestone feels really great and encourages me to keep moving forward!
