This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer

I have hit my 3000th sale a couple of days ago. I'm very excited about it and can't wait to hit some more milestones.

Wow -- well done everyone!

Hi, my shop is new to the team. I'm loving all the great ideas and inspiration I'm getting here on my first day. My shop has been open since Oct. 2, 2013. At the time I thought 50 sales would be hard to achieve.

After lots of tweaking and trying out different types of products I'm at 69 sales. One of the most recent sales was my first overseas sale who was a delight to work with.

I have felt deeply inspired lately and have created about 50 new magnets in the last month. Feeling Happy about allowing what's inside me , out.

I have had three sales since Friday!!! I feel so overwhelmed with SEO, and Rankings and Views and Favorites and Teams lol lol. I am spending at least 12 hours a day working so these little wins keep me going!!

I hope you can help me - I usually sell 1 item per day, I haven't sold anything for a week now. A couple of weeks back I had an email from Etsy saying that their was a problem processing orders and I wonder has this problem resurfaced.

I have hit 22 sales in a little less than 4 months! Also I was accepted into a local fair that has HUNDREDS of patrons that attend. I feel I may have dove in WAY too deep on this one seems how I have not even done a craft show yet. My mother and biggest inspiration my Fiance are rooting for me and supporting me though and telling me to dive in head first. With my Etsy store and my fair coming up I have so much to do it's overwhelming and exciting so my success is I am being noticed by many people and filling orders!

I would suggest that you post your question in the "Latests Discussions" Section of this Success Team. This thread is mostly for celebrations and you may not get many responses.

I do not know about problems processing orders, but I searched the Forums and found many posts regarding that subject matter.

I'm not sure if this counts as an Etsy celebration but I wanted to celebrate anyway. I was just accepted (contracts signed this morning) to be represented by a bricks & mortar gallery! (The Palette and the Page) They will be selling some of my art dolls as well as my calligraphy and paintings! I will be featured in a 2 or 3 person show in December!

First year over couple of days ago. I ended the year with around 120 items sold which was more than I expected. December was great and January even better to my surprise/ March though...ouch! Still taking the year in the round I'm quite happy. Now to get listing a few more of the items gathering dust (somewhere between 300-400! to keep me out of mischief)

I discovered that I am in the top 100 vintage sellers (#90 sales-wise) on
craftcount.com. I was excited to learn that!

I had 2 this week....

First, an online friend I've never met has one of my necklaces. She writes devotionals for my organizations web site. She and her husband had friends over for dinner last week. The wife has just been diagnosed with cancer and her husband bought her a necklace.

She wrote me to tell me the story and said "I saw her necklace and said 'I recognize that!'" Her husband had bought it off our GG Etsy site. As a believer I can only believe this was a God-incidence. And I think I am just as excited that my friend recognized the necklace as 'my brand'.

The 2nd celebration? Someone wore a necklace into a gift shop near a huge medical facility, and the owner asked her where she got it and the wear-er gushed over Gutsy Goodness (so store owner said) and she will be making a regular wholesale order. And this is THE audience I am seeking and a perfect fit for our first retail account.

Our shop reached 300 sales today. So happy about that.

Have put a lot of effort into working on titles, tags, etc. I must say that March has been exceptionally slow so far this year.
