I have had many ups and downs, and have been lucky enough to stay open, continue making jewelry, and grow my skills throughout this entire time. It has been an enormous learning experience, and I keep coming back to it each day, knowing I'm bound to learn something new.
Last night, I realized that my 4.5 star rating had been boosted to a 5 star rating! I feel this must have happened as a result of becoming much more active in the past 2 weeks, dedicated generous time daily to SEO, participating in teams, and accruing likes, shares, and views from my fellow Etsian community.
I felt like when my rating initially dropped to 4.5 stars, my overall sales were affected. The reviews that dropped my overall rating weren't bad reviews, they just weren't my best. The reviews my customers leave are entirely valid, and I have no control other than the quality of the product that leaves my studio. Now that I can proud display 5 stars again, I am hopefully that my business will continue to grow and I can continue to delivery the best quality product to my customers again and again.
I am so grateful to this community - and with it, I feel like I can accomplish anything with my business. Etsy has been a supportive, unique experience that I am so glad to have grow side-by-side with. When I joined Etsy nearly 5 years ago it was a very different company, and so was rarebits. I'm so proud to see where we've come.
