This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media
• You recently opened your shop
• You’re celebrating your Etsyversary

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

I'm celebrating the fact that I keep adding more and more to my shop and getting higher and higher in the search engine listings. I am always tweaking and improving listings, tags and titles. I'm slowly getting more and more sales and am so happy and thankful for each and every one of them. We all have something to celebrate, small or large, lets all celebrate them!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Hi to everyone out there...

I am brand new to this team and also only about 2 months new to my shop. I love my shop, and am busy working on listings and all the other things that go into making it a success.

Up until now I have sold in person and been quite successful. It seemed a good time to add this approach for by business.

I haven't made a sale yet, though. I wonder if this is "normal" or if I have done something wrong. Perhaps my photos could be better, or prices different? If anyone on the team has suggestions for me I would welcome them gladly.

Thank you
Mary Ellen

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

I set a goal for just two sales in my second month of selling, and I already surpassed that!

Congrats everyone on your achievements! :)

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Hey Ya'll -
My name is Mary and I am the boss lady of KorandMare Creations alongside my wonderful husband Kory. I am not new to Etsy as a shopper, but as a Seller, we are about 2 months old! It's been great so far- not necessarily because I am getting loads of traffic or making lots of sales (because I'm not), but because It's providing me the reason and opportunity to be creative and thats amazing and life giving- and totally something to celebrate!!

This shop helps to fuel my creative juices and allows us (my husband and I) to spend quality time working (together) with our hands to create beautiful homemade products to share with others!

We make Handmade & Repurposed art objects & accessories for your home & beyond such as customizable watercolor and acrylic designs on canvas/wood, hand designed mugs, and industrial styled Coffee Products. Each piece is made to order by hand, making every item one-of-a kind!…

While we are the owners of this shop, we are really just a young, fun, and inspired married couple that loves to create together!!

Thanks for letting me join in on the Team -- I'm excited for al that is to come!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

My shop has allowed me to bring out my creative side - I make my own soaps and have recently combined my other love of paper crafting to make Christmas Cards and gift bags for my soaps.

I'm surprised to see I've actually had 30 sales over a year.

Its so rewarding to receive good feedback and to be featured in Treasuries - running a business at home can be quite lonely at times and Etsy gives me somewhere I can run to to ask questions and know there is someone out there!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

I'm just one sale short of reaching my next goal -- 225 sales. SO excited, and hoping to aim to reach 250 sales by Christmas! (: Wish me luck, please!

Congratulations to everyone who is also celebrating some sort of milestone!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

They are still at zero sales.
For now they get more sales from PINTEREST where I have 67,000 followers and many articles on the front pages of search.
I hope that the first sale is not late in coming.

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Hi everyone,

I am Tiffany! I opened my Etsy Shop TiffsLittleTrinkets in June 2015 and I just wanted to share 2 things:

* November has been my best month so far (Views / Favourites / Orders)
* I have sold for over $100 of goods.

I will not seem much to most of you, but I'm happy.

Hoping to sell more and more in the coming months. :-)

My vintage easel was purchased by the Ralph Lauren Company. I'm not sure what it'll be used for, in-store use or advertising. But I'm very excited!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

We would like to say thanks.
Thanks to Etsy first, to our customers, to all our followers.
We are now, after 5 years on Etsy and two shops we run, the bigger tire belt's seller on this platform.
It was such a journey!
I remember years ago when a friend suggested me to run an Etsy shop.
We were 3 people selling this kind of products here.
The very first two sellers are not on Etsy anymore, but many others join this community.
Many people was inspired and started to produce tire belts.
Was hard. Really hard sometimes, but we learned something about upcycling.
There are millions bike tires outside there which are waiting to be upcycled!
We learned how to make better products and how to take care of every single customer.
From me making the first belts as xmas presents, a long time passed and now we're a small company.
This xmas already hundreds of people chosen our belts as presents for they beloved.
I'm proud.
I grew up.

I was just in need to say thanks, to you all.

We're reaching 900 sales and the number 1000 doesn't seems a mirage anymore.

Upcycle or Die!

Jim.

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Wow, there are some amazing achievements on this post, well done to all of you. I became quite busy with life (training to be a teacher) so my shop took a back seat but now I'm hoping to get back on easy and feel that buzz again that I truly missed!
