Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

Hi i'm jasmine and I've had my Etsy shop for 2 years. I'm at college now and I finally have the time to put all the work my shop deserves and I'm so happy about that! I just wanted to celebrate that I just put out my first cohesive line of jewelry! I'm really proud of it!

Celebrate...Happy dance! October I had a kind customer buy 6 of my items...that to me was a milestone....and just today, I sold my acorns! Not the usual fare for my shop, I was on the brink of taking them out, that's when they sold!

I love Etsy and all the information and fun available. It is time to make my next treasury.

I'm an urban farmer & stay at home mamma. I have been in the health field for well over 15 years & wanted to make something that was different from what I was used to seeing. In December of 2014 I started up my Lemonbuzzzsoap Etsy shop, not knowing a clue about what it takes to run a small business. But the uniqueness of the situation compelled me to keep going. That following February my 3 year old was diagnosed with Autism. And despite what some people felt was possible, I have kept with it & found great joy having a creative outlet! I have worked super hard the past year & have seen my products land their way into a few health food shops & boutiques. My sales are still rather small, but I'm having fun & have been able to send a small portion to Honeylove a non profit that is dedicated to helping honeybees. I never knew I had all this in me. I feel pretty fortunate to have come this far, despite what ups and downs may be ahead:)

Hi to all etsy sellers and shoppers!

✿ I've opened my etsy shop back in March of 2014, so it'll be 2 years before I know it.
✿ I'm 8 sales away from reaching 200!!
✿ I enjoy every minute of arts & crafts shows that I am part of and meeting new customers.
✿ I love reading all the sweet reviews from customers :-)
✿ Thanks to my daughter who is now 8 years old (if it wasn't for her asking me to make her a hair bow, I wouldn't be here enjoying a hobby I never thought i'd have and that I can earn extra savings for my loving kiddos.
✿Blessed to have photographers that team up with me and take such beautiful photography of my products worn by sweet pretty girls.
✿ looking forward to many more years and many many more sales to come! Custom orders are my favorite!

Reached our 200th sale today. YAY!! It really helps to run the 'promote' ads, but you have to make sure the numbers are making sense as you go along (expense vs. income generated).

The end of this week culminates weeks of hard work, editing, creating, photographing and listing 6 new listings, which two are new products. Within 24 hours I had my 1st sale since spring!!!! It was so exciting to hear that ka-ching sound again. My work is far from done as I have more products to list, but I am excited and optimistic for the coming holiday season!
