This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers

Hello everyone! :)

I'm new in this group and today started to read everything - and I really love it here! :)
Before, when I had first sale, first review, than when I had 100 sales (which I was waiting unreal!!) - that time was from one hand really happy, but from another - really sad - I didn't have someone to share... No, of course I have beloved, parents, friends, but they don't understand it like I think you do! :) You came through it and you now this FANTASTIC felling!!!! :)

Hi there!

I'm quite quiet and shy on teams so making an effort to get more involved :-) I make fine silver and copper jewellery.

I've been pottering on Etsy for a few years but only started putting proper effort into it this year and I recently celebrated getting past the 100 listings mark! yay

Sadly my sales are very sporadic so if anyone can give me any tips, it would be really appreciated :-)

Hello All! I sell locally in two boutiques and do well and am fairly new to etsy. I am proud I have had 3 sales but I am not going to lie-etsy has been tough for me. I work so hard on my page, products, listings, photos, advertising, games, and still find it hard to make a sale!

I am still relatively new to Etsy too, only starting selling vintage womenswear at the beginning of this month. However, I received my first review the other day, which scared me more than anything, proves that all of this is really happening!

They left 5* which I am chuffed about and even left a photo of them wearing the item purchased, which is just so nice to see :-) Also just got into the double digits in sales. Over the moon!

Welcome all new sellers and congratulations on those initial sales - there is nothing better! I'm celebrating a successful shop sale. I used Etsy on Sale and had 18 sales! I've had much better luck using this "app" vs. posting coupon codes on my front page. Happy Sunday everybody!

I have recently made my tenth sale; and have had my shop open for just over a year. I have not put 100% into my shop yet, but I am dedicating more time to it. I have started using promoted listings, and views have gone way up - which is the first step to more sales.

I also recently started viewing the Treasury Lists of others and have even created a few of my own. I have favourited some neat shops and items as a result.

I am looking forward to a better holiday season, and will continue to make improvements along the way. Thanks for the support! :)

Today I celebrate a promise. This year I make a commitment to my fellow shop owners to purchase all of my Christmas presents on Etsy and supplies from wrapping paper to all of my gifts, because I believe truly in my heart the spirit of Christmas is the love we can share with one another.

Im finally going to hit 100 items in my store thos week. Will have close to 150 items by next week. My goal is to have my store fully stocked by my next craft fair on Nov. 7 and before I start any more projects.

Any tips on home decorations would be handy :) and is there any way to spread messages? Like how much better natural candles are for your health and the environment?

Hello team, thanks for accepting me to join. My shop is very very new, two months old. So, right now the only milestone I've reached is 3 followers and 12 admirers and hoping for a bigger one. Do you think that this is a good start or too early to hope for a bigger milestone which is my first sale?

Last July, I had a precious opportunity to step into ReincarnationsResale after three years of work by its previous owner. This is a great forum for a creative person. My milestone for sales is yet to be achieved, but I am half way there. It is to match the sales the shop had last year at the same time with the previous owner.

But, what was particularly delightful was getting a great review from a customer about my customer service. It lets me know Im doing the right thing by the customers. Im finding I need a lot of instruction on how to do things right. That's OK, I am more than willing to learn.

Hello everyone, I just started selling my personalized Baby Books this month. My first milestone will be my first sale, which is yet to come. But it's beautiful to see everyday more and more people step by and leave "likes" and compliments :-) so I keep my hopes high that my first sale will come :-)

100 admirers today!
Almost 5 months on Etsy, 236 sales, two stores now carries my baby tees.
I am very proud of myself for working full time+11-month baby at home+trying to figure out Etsy.
Finalizing some new designs before I reopen my store after a two week break. I am keeping my finger crossed the new ones will turn out nice.
Still so much to learn and figure out. I am glad I find this team. Good luck everyone for this upcoming holiday season!
