This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

For the month of September I had to the most sales. It was only 3 but I was so excited. It was also the month I had the most traffic coming through my shop. Baby steps. :)

My shop opened back on April 1st of this year. I sell watercolor note cards. I'm celebrating my first sale by someone I don't know - Hooray!

Hello, I am brand new to Etsy Success and I am celebrating having my membership application accepted!! I look forward to receiving all of the advice, ideas and sharing in everyone's creativity.

I have several different types of work and crafting that I enjoy doing including pyrography, painting, knitting, quilting. I also enjoy vintage and antiques.

My store has been open since April 2015 and I have had 17 sales.

I know I really need to start a facebook page for my store. Maybe some of you have some ideas for me?

I could use some advice on how to create a treasury and what exactly is it's purpose?

Hello everyone, I've been reading about your success stories, wow! congratulations to all of you!!!
I'm also celebrating because I had set my goal for 14 sales this month, and by the first week I had 16, OMG!!! my husband and I would scream every time we heard the "chee cheenggg" sound of the Etsy's App on my phone.. super excited! Now my goal is 30 and we are on the 22nd, almost thereee!!!!

I'm celebrating because I got 50 views in one day. I have had minimal sales and very little traffic. I am trying to learn all I can as I go. I also got a custom order request today. Yay!

I finally have 100 listings posted to my shop. Woo hoo!! It's taken me longer than I had hoped but I've gotten there. Congratulations to everyone who's accomplished their goals. We can do it!

Yesterday, I finally kicked myself into gear and posted items! After toying with the thought for months, I told myself no more excuses and to just get started with my shop!

This will definitely be a learning process, but I'm glad to be joining such a fun and creative community. Hopefully it'll start to rub off on me. ;-)

Hi everyone, im brand new to the team. Looking forward to getting to know folks.
My shop opened about about 5 yrs ago, but ive had many months (& even a full year) of closure due to illness. Ive just reopened after a 10 month sickness break & am waiting to soon look healthier so i can take my profile pic ;)
All my profits go to charity & im celebrating reopening & being grateful for some sales after being shut for so long.
