This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

Our first sale on Etsy was to Germany. We were so excited and a bit nervous. We thought now what?! It all worked out great.

I'm really excited: I finally rephotographed ALL of my items for a better cohesive feel and to get that autumn thing going. And, in doing so, I found about four crosses I had made that never got listed. So, I got to add new listings too. Yay for Fall!

Yay! I finally have 100 items in my shop and I'm still going to list much more. I watched an Etsy workshop about improving the description of items for better content quality - which has resulted in more views! Yay again.

I started putting stuff in my etsy store again after a few years and two major moves, to Florida and back to Texas. I was discouraged that my art never really sold in past mediums i had posted, photography and sewn wallets and stuffed animals. Last november I took a ceramics class, an excuse to have access to a kiln. I've been working with clay almost every day since. This summer I started posting my ceramic jewelry and my store has grown to include ring dishes, incense holders, screen prints, zines, wearable art and useable art. I got asked to be part of a craft bazaar pop up in Austin, Tx Aug. 2nd after the lady throwing the event had commented on a necklace I had made that my friend was wearing. from that one little group event in the courtyard of Friends and Neighbors vintage store I've been asked for 2 wholesale orders and 1 consignment. One of the wholesale orders was from a girl who saw my items on instagram in relation to the pop up event and loved my stuff so much she wanted me to overnight some pieces that were ready to ship on top of her wholesale order, for her store opened. feeling a lot of love and encouragement through these events and our community of friends who have been so sweet and also been encouraged to create more diligently. Still wish I made more individual sales but return customers are encouraging.

I am celebrating the start of my international shipping! I read up on some forums, asked some questions and became comfortable with the idea of shipping to certain countries to start out with. I love the thought of someone wearing my jewelry and loving it in an entirely different country!

I am celebrating being selected as a finalist for the 2015 Martha Stewart American Made Awards!!

Through public voting, we have the opportunity to win a trip to NYC and $10,000 to grow our business.

Voting is open September 21 – October 19, and I'm currently working like mad preparing a social media campaign and send out press releases.

I am honored and am so excited to see what the next couple months bring!

Also, out of nowhere, I sold 12 tunics, yesterday! Wow!
This is a fun ride, Etsy, and I am so grateful to have returned to my lifelong passion of Shibori after a 25 year break!

WOW! Been opened less than one month and already 11 sales, one review-five star, 935 views and 158 favorites. Pinterest repinned one of my aprons...unfortunately it is one I have already sold, but I remain overwhelmed at what Etsy can do. I LOVE ETSY!!!

It was, and still is, hard work. Sales don't come easy and there were days that I just wanted to give up. But today I feel very happy and thankful! ♥ ♥ ♥
