Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

I opened my Shop in 2010, but didn't really push it until last year. I am hoping to quit my job after the new year, and focus solely on my Etsy Shop. Please support me, and all your local artists!

I am excited to announce that I was commissioned by a producer of a new Hulu television show titled "Difficult People". It is a show written by Amy Poehler. They asked me to make a cross stitch throw pillow saying "More is More. Less is A Bore". You can find it on my sold items.

On 4-15-15, I was featured on Comedy Central's @Midnite game show. It was a final round entitled "For The Win". Comedians had to comment for points on my cross stitchs'. I was elated to be found!!

I have been blessed to be asked countless times for custom orders. Whether it be a cross stitch or custom vinyl, it makes my heart sing whenever I get a notification. I feel even more excited knowing that someone likes my work enough to even consider asking me to make something for them.

I am very excited to be a part of this team! It is such an inspiration to see so many success stories!

I have never been so happy since opening my Etsy Shop.

I've learned that it takes a lot of hard work and sometimes you do feel unaccomplished when your views go down, but everyday is a new day! I am currently unable to work due to illness so anything helps and I am so thankful for Etsy and my admirers!

Since opening my vintage shop in May of this year (2015) I have had 10 sales and couldn't be happier. I do think it's mostly luck, but I've also done a lot of research and figured what items are worth selling and what items are not. You have your ups and your downs, but hearing that "CHA-CHING" on your phone could possibly be one of the best feelings! :-)

I set goals each week for my shop and thanks to the Etsy Success team I took their constructive criticism as a motivation to work even harder and make my shop look even better.

Since opening I have accumulated over 100 items and am adding more items every few weeks! I'm hoping to turn that into weekly! :-) With almost 2,000 views already I'm hoping to double that in no time! Can't wait to earn more success and keep achieving my goals!

It's fabulous to read so many success stories. Very inspiring!

I started my button making business nearly six years ago. At the time an ongoing contract for $200 per month had just dried up and I had a dream. Maybe I could replace that contract with button sales (then I chuckled to myself that that was probably a silly idea). Then I jumped right back into my fantasy and thought "Imagine if I could sell $500 per month!" It's a rare month that I don't double or triple that 'big dream' figure now and I'm so grateful every day for my busy little business.

I only joined Etsy eleven months ago and for a start it was quite a slog adding listings for very little reward. Over the 11 months though sales have picked up nicely and continue to contribute well to my overall monthly income. Since being on Etsy I have added completely new product lines (outside of buttons) and I have played around with variations of promoting.

I love the information you can glean from Etsy. I find it more useful than any of the other reporting that I can put my finger on. Combined with Facebook promotion, I have high hopes for my business and my potential to turn it into a full time career, (when I have full-time capacity - unlike now).

Keep up the great work Etsy community. It's great to be here with you!
