Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Hi everybody. I just opened my shop a couple of weeks ago. Crochet items for babies! I'm just starting to get my basis established within the Etsy community. No sales yet but I've got a number of admirers and people who have Favorited my stuff, so I'm staying optimistic.

I know adding listings is a part of what can make a shop successful, and I just hit the 200 mark for items in my shop! I'm very proud of the many illustrations I've made and how far I've come!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

We are super excited over here at Lutzjewelry! Not only did we have our first international order (yay!!!) But we also sold a pendant that was getting a ton of views and had been favorited by several people, but hadn't sold up until now. Hopefully, things will continue to pick up. In fact, I know they will.

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Started our shop in November 2014. Reached our monthly target straight away. Now we hope to add more knotted items, we have lots of ideas. We have sold to more countries than we expected. An order from Singapore was a red letter day. Everyone we have had business with have been lovely. There is a nice vibe with Etsy folk.
We hope to reach new goals with more sales. We need to learn to push more on different social media. Etsy helps a lot with all the info and forums

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Hi Everyone,
I opened my shop in September 2014, with an assortment of things, not knowing if anything would sell.
It has now been 10 months, and to my surprise, I have now passed the "100 items sold" mark! All because of my silk "skinny" scarves...something I was looking for in stores and couldn't find.
Another milestone was getting a wholesale order for 15 scarves at the price I was currently charging, which made me realize I was not charging enough.
This has been a great learning experience!
Thank you Etsy!!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

When my first son was born I wanted to get him a headband; he was a bald baby and I just felt like he needed an accessory. I tried without success to find something that fit our style, and so began the germ of an idea to make my own boy headbands to sell. After research and development I opened my shop May 23rd, 2015.

Yesterday was my first custom order sale. Altogether I've had 10 sales and I'm hoping this is a good start! I'm hoping to learn lots by being on this team, I'm having a lot of fun learning to market my shop.

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Hello,
I opened my shop almost 3 weeks ago. I sell baby headbands, nursery letters and lamp shades. Yesterday I had third sale!! I was very excited to get another sale and hope to get more soon. I am working hard on adding more inventory, improving my pictures and just playing around with titles and tags to see what works. Hopefully my hard work will pay off!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

This Etsy journey has been amazing, and I'm so blessed to be a part of this community!

I had an amazing job in the financial world for eleven years. Though it was good and the people there were fantastic, it was not what I wanted to be doing. Last week, I was able to quit my "day job" and go full time selling vintage items on Etsy! My husband has been a wonderful supporter of my dreams through this.

I am loving this dream job! I am truly thankful to everyone at Etsy and the great Etsy community for all their hard work at making this a possibility for me!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

I opened my shop at the end of April and I sell terracotta clay diffuser necklaces for essential oils along with baby headbands and polymer clay fashion necklaces.
After a few months I'm getting the hang of things and I've been trying to add more listings. I've added 6 new listings this week and have things a little better organized. I've only sold 5 items but I'm setting goals and have a pretty optimistic outlook!
I've found a few websites to advertise on and my views/favorites have jumped this week! :D

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

We are excited to announce our first sale on Etsy. One week after creating our shop. It was also our first international sale to Great Britain. We still have so much more to create. Seeking to expand into more quality materials and different faucets of artistic expression.

Wishing all others all the best ;}

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Although this was last week. It's still a thing to celebrate. After three months of intense shop promotion and zero sale at the point when I seriously started thinking of closing me etsy store I got a order for two items. :)

Not giving up on etsy yet. ;)

Trying for reaching my 200 sale mark this month - only 8 sales to go which would be a banner month for me. Here is my first July sale - and relisted.

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Love this thread!
I'm celebrating because I've managed to keep the views line in my stats going upwards for 5 months in a row!
It's very motivational keeping that little line pointing skywards, it gives me a goal to keep to. As I see it, you can't control how many sales you get, but you can promote more views by regularly putting in new items.

YEA! Just had my 50th sale, a goal I had set for by the end of June, and even though we did not make it by June 30, July 7th is pretty close!!
Now my next goal is 100 by the end of 2015!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

I opened my etsy store in October 2014 with six items. As of now I have over 100 with many more on the way! I still struggle with proper tags, names, and organization, but I feel like I'm getting the hang of things. Glad to be a part of this group!!
