This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media
• You recently opened your shop
• You’re celebrating your Etsyversary

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

I'm celebrating my first sale of the week! It's all about the little things and getting momentum to keep going. So I'll keep adding new items to the shop, hoping to hit 50 items in the shop by July 4th! :D

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Two weeks ago I had my first international sales of two of my scarves. I was so excited, but a little scared because I thought the postage would be hard to figure out. Luckily Etsy makes it very easy to ship internationally.

Thanks again Etsy for making this easy for the sellers.

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Congrats, Kathy! I was in the same boat last week with my first international order to Sweden. I'm in the US. It was very easy using Etsy shipping label and the folks at my local USPS were impressed with it, too.

Jessica, congrats on your first sale of the week - great way to start a Monday! Good luck getting 50 items listed by the 4th!

Carly, congrats on opening your shop and getting your first faves!

Daniela, congrats on your first of MANY sales, I'm sure : )

Ok, I need to crow that I've had over $1,000 in sales for June - so excited and looking at how to keep that momentum going in to July and August - wish me luck everyone!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

We are celebrating because we had our first sale back in February, our first overseas sale in Great Britian in April, and our tenth sale this month. Going to get better and better with all the advice we can get on ETSY, thank for all the help.

Hi! I am pbClocks! I have been professionally restoring clocks and metronomes with almost 15 years of experience, the last 4 years on Etsy. I am thrilled to announce 200 sales! I imagine Seth Thomas himself never would have thought that 50 to 100 years later, his metronomes would still be running strong and listed on the Internet!. Thank you, Etsy, for creating a channel for my restored metronomes and other vintage mechanical devices!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

Hey all!! June was an incredible month for us and we are working hard to ensure that July is on par or hopefully even better! We nearly doubled our inventory in the last two days and are diligently working to produce more items. A big thank you to all our fellow sellers who support and encourage our progress.

Wishing everyone continued success and happy selling!! :) :) :)

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

I am excited because I launched a new product line called "Scribbles" and feel like it really has the "Etsy vibe", more so that my other listings. I will need to eventually create a more cohesive bunch of offerings, but for now I am doing a bit of experimentation to see what resonates with buyers. It's always exciting to put something new out there!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

I feel today we can say we have truly hit our first milestone. whereas three days ago we neither had Facebook profiles (having closed them over a year ago for fear that they were stifling our creativity), nor did we have any idea about blogging, creating a website, or even how to sell on Etsy, Now just three days later, after lots of tiring investment of time and energy, we have an attractive and functional Facebook Page linked with our actual owned website linked with a nearly completed Etsy Shop (nix the journey of creations which we seek to culminate in our "storefront" galleries, and educated descriptions of our Policies).

We began with virtually no funds. Kind of pulling a starving artist, out on a limb, move. It was a faith in art that kept us pushing beyond "boundaries". Our first creations being a scarce supply of old crafts we've kept around "just in case". This scant "first crop" has inspired us to broaden the horizons of our creations. To open our minds more and more and really see the endless possibilities. So many, in fact, that there seems to be "no time".

Three days ago we had no structure, no visualization beyond block by block lists, and no idea, really. Now after establishing a trifecta for a NETworking foundation, I decided to take part in this team. Kind of like a breath of fresh air after 16 hours, today, of administering content and creative problem solving past our roadblocks. Posting in this thread is kind of like "getting my feet wet", you know?

So that's it. It's been a "calm in the storm" to finally have hit that marker where we feel we can take a break and start getting to know all that we've formatted in the last 72 hours. I've personally enjoyed looking thru some of the other postings in this forum. I wish all others the patience, inspiration, and stamina to accomplish their own personal milestones towards their goals.

Be True Everyone!

Re: Official Success Celebration Thread!

I've hit my Etsyversary (1 year!) and have had 2 sales, both of which are international! I've also expanded my line to include more than scarves, and set up a Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/ScarvesbyDanny ) and a Twitter ( www.twitter.com/ScarvesbyDanny )! I've been a busy little bee lol
