This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media

Reached 40 followers! Seems like a tiny milestone but for newbies like me it's a really big deal :-D

60 items listed in my shop and aaaaalmost 400 sales. Actually, i'll be back when i actually reach that 400 milestone and celebrate properly. :)

I've passed my 60 sales milestone in my illustration shop this month after being open for 7 months! I've also had more than 8000 views in total – I'm really honored that 2 thirds of my sales go to international buyers, makes me feel that my art is being appreciated globally. Etsy is the best :)

We have had 7 major sales this week! We had no idea we'd have to be working so hard to play catch up and get our inventory back up! Such a wonderful problem to have!

My Etsyversary was in April - 2 years! The first few months, nothing happened. Then - voila - I sold a large platter, one of the most costly items in my store. That was my very first sale and I was somewhat shocked. What a wake up call! I told myself, this is good - someone in So. Carolina just found and bought my 16" lavender platter, merely from viewing a photo online. I had no sales history, no reviews, and my photos back then were ... well ... let's say there was room for improvement!

Sales that year were okay, last year was better, and this year is about double last year. It is so much fun selling to people all over the U.S. It's always a great feeling - that someone I'd never have met, found my work and connected with it. That's what it's all about for me.

I am so excited! I finally had two sales! I was ready to quit thinking my shop was not good enough. I tried my hardest to stay positive, but there are so many neat shops out there, when suddenly I got a sale! Both buyers were wonderful to work with as well. I feel lucky!

Hi I am Kristina, and I am new to the group. I have had my shop open for a year although just now started re-listing items. When I originally opened my shop I had only listed a few items and was intimidated. Not that I am not intimidated still I have decided to push more of my products out onto Easy. My Goal has been to post 2-3 new items each day. I am excited that I have succeeded at doing that.

I hit $1000 milestone last month. I only have 17 sales for 6 months opening but all my customers posted super positive reviews. That encourage me a lot. ^_^
I still stuck in finding way to get my items found. Need to find marketing advice around. ;)

I'm celebrating because I am launching a bridal line of jewelry, tonight. I'm super excited to help out future wives, moms, and lovely ladies look beautiful on the big day and thereafter. :)

I am glad my customers have sent me great feedback notes.

I recently finally added new KIMONO items this month, which I have postponed for a long time, and have got many favorites!

it has been a little slow lately, but I am celebrating selling 420 items in the last 2 years. I will just continue to work my shop, I sell a variety of item and most of my items are in like new or great condition, at reasonable bargain prices.

Hi - I'm a Graphic Designer creating invitations, party items and wall art. Some are for instant download and others offer personalization.

I made my first sale -- for $4.00 as an instant download - a couple of days ago. My phone made this alert sound that I'd not heard before and my heart started to pound. I looked down and saw the Etsy symbol and my body jumped into action thinking I'd have to personalize one of my items and I wanted to be as efficient and prompt as I could. I must have looked at the dashboard and all of my alerts 10x or more to make sure it really was a sale and an instant download that required no more action from me. It was only $4.00, but you'd have thought I sold a masterpiece :o)
