This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order

I just got my 4th order from my 10% GIVE BACK campaign I am offering for Mother's Day. I only launched this , this past Monday! Super excited to be able to offer this and glad it's working! Still 2 weeks to go!!!

Today I went from 399 shop admirers to 410 admirers :)
Almost at 40 sales as well, only 2 more to go. Hope I will reach that goal next week!

Two big Etsy milestones for me. First, I have over 100 items in my shop. The second is this is the first time I have received 2 sales in the same day. Happy dancing here in Arkansas....

So excited to find my blue hydrangeas tote has been featured on the Etsy Finds today! And on the front page of the Mothers Day section. My stats have been going crazy! I hope all the hard work will start to pay off now!

Etsy is super cool!
I just added two new products and sold my first item this month. Hurray. I have been on Etsy for several years, but not very active as I was still working full time.
My beloved hubby was recently diagnosed with lung cancer so now I am a full time care giver and my Etsy shop is such a wonderful way to relax and have some me time. Not to mention I love to be use my creativity energy.

I recently reached 200 items for sale in my shop! I hope to keep increasing that number. I would love to have 300 in a couple of months. We'll see if I can do it!

Today I reached 600 sales! I feel very happy and grateful, I have never believed that I will be where I am now. I come from a small country for many known only after a terrible war. I greatly appreciate the fact that Etsy gives everyone an equal chance for success. Many thanks to Etsy and to my amazing customers!

Hi all! I am very new to this community but I am already SO IMPRESSED by how talented and professional some people are here! My business is handmade floral crowns and headbands for women and kids and I sell quite a lot besides Etsy - so still have to learn the tools to do it here. Though I had one sale when my shop was still empty with only 2 items - so I guess it is my small success to share <3 I will be glad to make friends here! Thank you!

I am celebrating the fact that I *finally* made the decision to offer custom orders. I've made a few private pieces for friends and sold them under a reserved listing on Etsy, but this will be the first time that I've offered this to members of the public.

It took a lot of support and encouragement of friends, especially as I'm now running my business with the added challenge of FND. However, my shop keeps me going, gives me purpose and an outlet for my creativity.

My month has been doing extremely well, and more people are finding out that I have this shop. So things are looking up!

I made my first organic sale! So far all of my sales have been people I've found outside of Etsy, and sent here. It's funny because I checked the email last night and saw an Etsy Transaction confirmation. My first reaction was anger, because I hadn't bought anything! LOL!
Nope, turns out someone wandered into my shop, I don't know where she came from because there's no search terms around that time. But YAY!!!

Fahimah, I looked at your shop and I love your pictures. You just have to be really patient--and I mean really patient. And another thing is don't judge yourself against someone else. It just isn't fair to you and can be quite upsetting when you see other people selling like mad and your not selling anything. Just hang in there and don't give up!

My shop has been asked to participate in a high end local show that is by invite only!! Am sooooo excited.....and nervous! Am hopeful I am able to come up with the fees, items, and creativity needed for the event on May 14th.
