This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

Hi everyone, i started my Etsy shop this past September. I since have had 43 sales. Most of them have been lately with the patterns i have added to my shop. I am trying to create some more. I mostly sell crochet and knit handmade items. Most being for children. I do work outside of the house, but this is my true love. If you have a minute, please stop by and check out my store. I'd like to celebrate a weekend accident - me tripping over and toppling a small table full of fresh out of the kiln beauties, all labeled, tagged with my story-card, and ready for new homes! NOTHING to celebrate there - but a local jewelry artist offered to give them new life in her fine metal-smith shop AND to credit my work - so I'm celebrating after all!!

Hi, my shop has been open since mid February in 2015 and I am celebrating my first sale for yesterday. Encouraging milestone for me because I was beginning to feel discouraged. Hey but things are looking brighter now.. Woo Hoo!!!!

I wanted to be able to contribute something to my family's income and still be a full time stay at home mom when my kids were toddlers.
This week marks my 7 year Etsy-versary and my kids aren't babies anymore! I can't believe it has been that long & wonder where the time went! I'm so thankful for everything Etsy has done to get my work out there in the world & make such a difference for our little family.

I have had my Etsy shop for a little over a year now and I never had much success. About a month ago, I got in the habit of really studying my stats, learned about promoted listings and listed at least 1-2 new listings each day. My numbers have JUMPED higher than I even imagined!

Just last Friday, I made more in ONE day, then I have throughout my entire time with Etsy! It was seriously amazing. Posting more listings is definitely helpful! :)

Hi everyone - It was my 2 year Etsyversary last month and this month I was accepted to appear in a local pop up shop (Not Etsy related, but still exciting!)
It opens this Saturday and I am really eager to see how the general public react to my work.

Today my shop reached 500 sales!

It took forever (almost 2 years to the day since I opened the shop) and a lot of hard work, but I finally reached a round, pleasantly sounding number of sales :)

Now on to the next 500.
