Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

Hello all,

We are celebrating, because we finally are together again after 9 month I was living in Germany and my husband was living in Indonesia. Now I am finished with university I moved to Indonesia, too. We are doing our business and Etsy shop as a full time job, so we hope to get more and more success.

We also celebrating, that our men leather bracelet was in the Etsy Newsletter "Make a Statement" two days ago. :)

RAVI is a new shop on Etsy which was created less than a month, and we are so happy to say that we just had our first sale!

Just a little bit about us - RaVi is a brand that was created in Bali, Indonesia by two friends Rani, a local Indonesian girl and Vika, a Russian girl who has been living and working in Indonesia among the local people for the past 5 years. And we are Inga&Jon, their friends who decided to promote their brand online!

Hi!

My name is Michal and I sell canvas picture frames and cards - all handmade. I opened my shop in mid January 2015.

I am celebrating 3 things:
1. I finally have more then 10 items in my shop
2. I finally published the fact that I have a shop on Etsy on my personal blog, and it started to go viral
3. Thanks to the publishing issue - I had over 40 organic views today!!

This is a great thread, it is inspiring to read about the successes of other team members and it gives me hope. My shop is new in the past couple of months and I have been slowly adding things.

I first had an etsy account in 2008 under a different name but with little success, I was selling felted bags (or trying to). My etsy shop page says I have been open since 2008 with no sales and I am afraid this will discourage buyers. I have more energy to devote to my shop now and hope to be posting my first sale soon. I welcome any tips members can give me:)
