Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Just completed the New York entrepreneurship classes with Work force One and our super cool teacher Brandi, i have opened my store and have 5 listings...I am sharing this here because it is my first milestone and I am so exited ! !

I am two item from having sold 400 items in just over 2 years of being opened. Stay encouraged I could never have imaged that I would sell this many items so fast. Still loving my Etsy shop.

Hi Everyone! Today is my 3 week anniversary with my Etsy shop. In 3 weeks I made 5 sales which is better than I expected. My shop sells handmade bath and body products. My biggest goal right now is to actually have someone who ISN'T a friend or a family member make a purchase! I love the support from family and friends of course, but I will feel really validated when I get my first sale from a complete stranger who leaves a great review!
In the mean time, I'm learning all that I can.

This is one of the many vinyl clocks that i make. It's my own unique design and I'm the only person making these.

They are made from old 12" records, most of which are in a very good condition and show very little wear but please note that there 'may' be some scratches.
... Please note - These are not Mass produced Laser cut vinyls, Burning PVC vinyl records with lasers releases harmful chloride gases into the atmosphere and is also very harmful to those working in such environments.

Well, I can't remember if I introduced myself or not but I opened my shop in 2012 and would say I am a bit disappointed with my sales.
I have 59 items listed with 65 sales. I did have more items listed at one time but have not been well for the past year and have not been able to keep my shop up to standards I would like.
I am going to be working on streamlining my shop and selling only certain items.
I am also going to be working on getting more products in my store.
I need to get more involved in social media. I have a facebook page and a pinterest page. I wish/hope I can make more time for social media. This year is going to be a bit of a challenge but I really need to get my products on the front page more. I renew fairly often but still am not seeing my items on the front page.
Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.
I love to help promote other shops and will continue to do that and on one team I am a leader and post all the items to Pinterest for the group. That is a very time consuming job but I love it.

Hello everybody!
It is amazing for me that i finally have my own shop at etsy and most amazing that i had my first purchase just one day after i opened !! And the coolest..the buyer was totally stranger from a country really far from mine!
I am at the beginning of a long journey and so happy about it!

We just hit 50 sales today. Yay! I starting building the shop in October 2014 and stocked it with listings and opened mid. Nov. 2014. Have been continually working on the shop and renewing listings, etc. Not much seems to happen unless I am actively working on it.

Just made my first sale after joining Etsy two weeks ago. Since I closed my brick and mortar store in 2012 I have needed a 'place to put my creativity'. My hope is that Etsy will fulfill that need. Social media is a challenge to me as I am of 'a certain age', but I hope to learn.

Hello, I am relatively new to Etsy and new to this team. I opened my Shop at the beginning of March and had one sale so far :-)
A few minutes ago I made my first Etsy Treasury and I'm totally happy - I thought it would be too difficult and had no clue....It wasn't so bad at all.

End of the March Doldrums!
We've only been on Etsy 6 months (starting 7 now) & while the first 5 were gr8, March, someone out there took a pin to our rising balloon of sales. The last 3 weeks, we sold 1 item; it was bad. April has already been a big turnaround and we're happy as clams! Time to get out of those doldrums and start listing more!
