This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales

I sell larger amount of fabrics, and want to know how do I add more then 1 fabric in a listing different color and different amount in yards with variations in a listing.

Hi to all! My wife and I are so happy to be here on Etsy! We just opened our new store, and are eagerly awaiting the first sale. We are a gourmet coffee roaster and own a couple of seasonal coffee/smoothie bars on the Boardwalk in Ocean City NJ. I have a website that I will be closing down and pointing to my new store here on Etsy. I am just wondering if anyone that reads this will please take a peak at my store and let me know about how you like our pictures. Well, most of them are graphics that represent the flavor or type of coffee that we are selling. Please let me know if you like them or would rather see more pictures of our coffee. I will be celebrating my first year anniversary on Etsy Friday I just reached 600 sales, and I have 193 feedback of 5 star average!!

Hi there….I am a new seller, just opened shop Feb. 5th. I make vintage repurposed assemblage jewelry. I made my first sale within an hour of opening! A fluke, yes, but still exciting! I joined some teams and kept plugging away at listing and tweaking my shop and finally made another sale. I haven't had a lot of time to create new things but I'm learning the ropes and having fun! Any tips to help newbies make sales would be greatly appreciated! It's nice to be here among all of you talented people…thank you!!

I just had my First Sale on Etsy...Yay!!! :) I'm thrilled. I didn't really understand the ends and outs on Etsy and didn't put much effort into it, until 2 months ago, and have been working 12 hour days since, so this really makes me feel more optimistic.

I've listed my 50th item in my shop few days ago. I am very exited. Although I do not have lot's of sales due to the custom nature of my leather goods, I am very optimistic and will continue adding more stuff to my shop.

New seller from Ottawa Ontario here. Re - opened our store Jan. 28 2015 and currently putting A TON of work into it.
Proud to use Canadian made product for our Baby and Toddler Varsity jackets and full zip hoodies.
We are having so much fun on Etsy and doing custom apparel for people all over the world is fantastic!
- currently at 30 + sales in first 46 days - so we are stoked!

I am celebrating that some wonderful etsian took the time to add my earrings to her treasury list! I make and sell jewelry pieces, mixing modern with vintage. After the encouragement of my family and close friends, I opened etsy my shop in January of this year, and I love being a shop owner. I am a full time employee, wife, mother, homeschool teacher and even though I am busy with family and work, I have to have a little bit of "me time" sprinkled in.
These hands NEED to create.

I am also new to etsty "teams", and am very excited to share in our successes, gain insight from experienced sellers, and hopefully inspire others in the process!
