Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

I’ve recently quit my day job and I’ve had over 3,100 sales since I joined Etsy as a seller. I attribute most of the success to my Family Tree Charts, a gift especially suited for babies, mother, father, in-laws and grandparents. Clip art, toy motorcycles, metal art, vintage paintings and all things vintage have also helped FreshRetroGallery. Cheers!

I just opened my shop on March 1. I make natural soaps, scrubs and balms. This week I'm celebrating making my first two sales and receiving my first five-star review!

I'm so glad that Etsy has a wealth of support and information placed at the fingertips of new shop owners. Looking forward to more sales and growth in the days to come!

This artwork challenges the senses, asking us to redefine the connection between our conscious and subconscious mind. Drawn to the arcing streaks of white which capture a sense of volume and motion, the viewer is then confronted with a coalescence of bold, lustrous colours. Instinctive and primal, these are, in turn, opposed by pockets of transparency which permit the viewer to glance “through the looking glass.”

In darkness, the lights can be switched on for a dramatic display. The varied depth and consistency of the paints gives the glass a unique opacity - embers swell into existence, then vanish, only to be replaced by another hue in another place; the effect is hypnotic.

All pieces are handmade, by me. I specialise in reforming materials into fashionable feature wall art. Inspired by a passion for producing original artworks, alongside an aspiration to induce intrigue through interpretative features.

I am celebrating because I have had my shop open since Sunday 1st March 2015 with actual products for sale in it, so I have been open 10 days - I opened the shop empty at the end of January so I could work out how to list and set up my shop info and profiles.

I have got 10 products in there so far, made my first sale, and got advice on SEO on the forums.

The result of the tuning I gave my tags is that I am visible in Google searches for Web, Shopping and Images on all my items within the first few items for most things and on the first page for everything.

I cannot tell you how cool it is to see items that I designed and made myself on Google!!

I am amazed at the progress I have made in the first week, and I am very busy designing and making new products for my shop to build on this fantastic start.

After selling craft supplies on another platform several years ago I am amazed at how supportive and positive the people I have met on here are.

I have been on Etsy for a few weeks and I have had my first sale!!. I was very elated because it happened so fast. Dear ETSY ADMINS;

I opened my shop on 23 February 2015...

We are a family Corporation.

In this store, the scarves and accessories that are sold all are my own productions. All the products are manufactured using the highest quality materials and designing meticulously.

Anyway, the idea of participating in ETSY was formed in this way. When various scarves and accessories that I designed for my personal usage were appreciated and requested so much by many of my friends, I decided then to intoduce my products to World market. The design process proceeds also in the same manner.

I'm checking in on this thread to report that I just hit 50 admirers and 22 sales. My 22nd sale was the most exciting of all--a costume designer working on a pilot of an ABC period drama purchased a pair of 1970s wedges from my shop. I hope to see them on prime time!
