This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

Just had my FIVE HUNDREDTH sale!!! Am in disbelief. What an amazing couple of years. I never thought etsy would end up taking me this far. :)

I have a growing following on twitter - currently at 747 and am looking at other social media options now. I have achieved 133 sales and 270 admirers and love selling on Etsy! ... so so glad we have Etsy :-)

I have had a Jem's Jewelry Etsy shop for years but this past Fall and Winter I have really focused on improving my shop and sales. For the months of January and February I had as many sales as I did for all of 2014. There is definitely some momentum in my shop as sales just continue even through the slow months after Christmas. This is a big anniversary for RockArtiste on Etsy this year. 15 years painting rocks! I painted my first rock in Feb. 2000, on a whim, looking for a new hobby. I was immediately addicted to rock art! It has been my passion ever since.
And now, 6 years selling my painted rock art on Etsy this month! I opened my shop on March 10, 2009. Within a few days, I had a large sale to Italy! I have found a home for my art where I can make it available to everyone in the world! I sure never saw that coming ;D

I'm new around here and to Etsy, opened my shop a few weeks ago. I suppose my milestone so far has been actually going for it and opening the store. Even though i only have a few prints available at the moment i figure it's better to have the store open and gradually build it up than have nothing at all. That way i can network and try and get the hang of things and learn as much as i can in the process, from helpful places like this team. Before i was trying to get everything finished and ready before opening my shop and putting it off. I realised i'm probably never going to be totally ready and i will never be finished, there's always more i can do.. so i took the leap and am now eagerly awaiting the day i get my first sale... however long it takes me!

We finished up February averaging over 50 views a day! Considering we were only averaging 10-15 view before that we are pretty excited. We are at over 100 views for the first 2 days of this month and have made our first sales of the year. It's starting to feel like our efforts are paying off!

Irina: Your dolls are very sweet! Have you considered joining a promotional team? I post items to a promotional team each day (spending no more than 10-15 minutes because these things can really eat up your time). I notice my views, favorites, and admirers increase. Also, why not create some Treasuries to help promote other sellers and bring attention to your shop? Finally, are you promoting your shop on any social media platforms?

I made a milestone of listing 10 items in my shop! (Altho I paused two cards since they are christmas cards) but to me it's a big milestone. It's always been a dream of mine to open a shop to share my designs and make others smile. I'm grateful for my partner to work with me to make this happen. ^_^

I am thrilled to have made it to and surpassed the 1,000 sales mark this past February!!! Being featured in the Etsy newsletter twice during the Valentine's Day season was a huge help in making that happen!
