This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

I recently had a couple of milestone events. I reached 100 sales, sold a second custom order to customer in Australia, and had one of my necklaces published in the winter(Jan-March) edition of the Jewelry Affaire magazine! I am looking forward to spending more time improving my shop and designing more jewelry when I retire at the end of this school year. Also, I love using the Etsy card reader at craft shows, so now all my sales at craft shows will be included in my # of sales shown in my shop!

Artisthink congratulations on your first sale - I just checked out your shop - very creative. I like it! I go to an art class and a few weeks ago we were discussing just this idea - of images on words in books... I like your birds and the curious cat! Good luck with more sales.

After having virtually no sales in November and December, I am finally rolling with Valentine Sales, 2 days after Christmas. I have been sparkly glitter and hearts this month. Bringing the love to 2015.

I MADE MY FIRST SALE TODAY!!!!!! I am so excited that I FINALLY made my first sale! I have had my friends and family bugging me to sell my crafts and finally after years of debating I decided I will just go for it. I started in July with only a few items and no idea of what I was doing and got discouraged so left it be. Now I came back in December with a vibrant determination to succeed! I have taken the time to research and ask questions. I have not been afraid this time! Now look where I am! Sold 1!! YAY!!!

Seeing that all of my research and nit picking is not lost in internet limbo!! Etsy is such a wonderful community and I am thrilled to be part of such a great atmosphere! I've only had people build me up and help me and it's all because of you, fellow and experienced etsians, that I've been able to have my first little piece of success! I have felt very welcomed by this atmosphere and feel like every little bit has helped me to get where I am! So THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!! Now I believe in myself <3

I joined this team to learn more about being successful on Etsy. I have had my shop for about a year and a half an I have only had 12 sales. I don't know what to do or not do. It just can't seem to get the hang of this quite yet. I am looking to learn how to make more sales consistently.

Hello Everyone,

my name is Stefanie Scharnberg. I'm a german professional illustrator. I stocked my etsy shop three weeks ago with some of my original illustrations. My main aim is to find customers outside Germany and to see if and how art can be sold on a platrform like etsy... So far I haven't sold anything! Though it's interesting to see what items get more clicks than others...
I haven't yet understood how the etsy mechanisms do work - if they exist!

Yeah, yeah, hoorah and yeah again! Hit the 50 sales mark which for some reason feels reaallly good. Views are up, stats looking better month to month! By jolly I think we're on to something.
All kidding aside, Etsy is part of our life plan. Success on Etsy will allow us to fully live the life we want, away from the big city in our country house. Believing it is possible makes our days bright and hopeful. A simple yet fulfilling life. Gratitude.
