This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

Hi
I am new to this group but not new to etsy. I have been with etsy since jan of 2013. This year sales has gone up. But I had been promoting a lot more this year, and reached over 100 items in my shop.

I have some questions???
I sell jewelry, more awareness jewelry, some supplies which in time I will stop. But started enjoying making wreaths. Thinking possible selling them in the future.
-Should my jewelry and wreaths be in the same shop, or should they be separate?
The size of the wreath is an issue since I am so used to small things shipping out.
-also today was the first time I seen people talking about online lab? I have no clue what that is. Can someone tell me thanks?

Hi, I'm just starting up and getting everything in order. I think fear of rejection has held me back..but I'm realizing that it's silly. I have my first ever craft show in 2 weeks and I'm freaking out but I hope it jump starts me on getting my gifts posted in my Etsy shop. I have a decent inventory now..so I'm ready:) I'm here to learn every little bit that I can. Thank you for being there.

Hello! My shop there only a few months.
At first, I tried to sell his paintings, which were accumulated at home. Now they are attached to me sewn bags.
Currently, top new works.
Membership Etsy my resume has contributed to sew and turn their hobbies. I am komunicējusi with nice people through Etsy. Thank you for your support!

Hi! Im Tara! I just joined the Etsy Success team last night!

Today is my ONE MONTH anniversary on Etsy! I'm celebrating 5 sales (661 views and 47 favorites). So far I am absolutely thrilled to be selling on Etsy and impressed with the wealth of resources.

I still have so much to learn and I am excited to learn from and contibute to this team.

I set a goal for myself in July to sell 50 books by Thanksgiving....and I sold #50 TODAY, 3 weeks early! :)

I`m celebrating my 3 sales since I opened my shop on 31st July this year, I know sales are not great compared to some. The fact is that 3 people bought my dog sweaters makes me very happy.

One of my items made it to trending items yesterday and today had reached over 1000 hearts. It is my first time that I have so many hearts for one item, since I am new to etsy and it was a really happy moment for me :) hard work can have great results, and moments like this give you the courage to continue..

I had a desire to sell 100 prints by Christmas after opening the shop end of June, managed to sell 142 till date and very happy with all the feedback I received on my designs. It gives me pleasure and motivation to continue !

Yesterday I had 104 views and 62 favourites!!! That's my best day so far! I feel like i'm getting closer and closer to making a sale!!!

I've been open 1 month and am thrilled to have had items featured in 4 treasuries, have almost 900 views to my shop and 77 favorites, and best of all to have made 4 sales! Looking forward to the holiday season

I am fairly new to this team! I have had my shop open since January 2012. I started selling feather earrings but have since grown my shop to Wedding, Events, and Bohemian Jewelry. (Head Pieces, Flower Crowns, Body Jewelry)

In January 2013 one of my Head Chains was featured on Buzzfeed with other Etsy Sellers:

More recently, I have launched a new collection in my shop and am quitting my day job to pursue this passion full force. I also plan to take jewelry fabrication classes and learn how to form my own jewelry and set stones!

Hello, I opened my store on Sept 18th this year selling polymer clay jewelry. I am still trying to learn all the ins and outs and have yet to make my first sell. But I am celebrating finally finding something I love to do! I have wanted to work from home for some time now because I have Fibromyalgia and find it really hard to work a 9-5 job. It wasn't until recently I discovered clay and started making food and seasonal themed jewelry and I have so much fun doing it! I wasn't sure at first about trying to sell my things but my husband and friends talked me into opening my Etsy store and I am so glad I did. I love reading all the success stories on here and can't wait to make my first sale!
