This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

I started selling in AUG 2014 and have 6 sales till date. Have set a target of 50 sales by end of this year.

I haven't had a lot of success with my shop. But September gave me a big boost I really needed. I sold 6 items in September. Having a total of 10 sales, September really was a giant leap. Now I am excited about the store again and looking to improve it.

I met my first year sales goal (for etsy) one week early!

My anniversary is on 11/2 and my goal was to average one sale every other day. I hit 183 sales over the weekend! Yay! Onto year two...

Hello! I have a small shop of handmade cardboard boxes on Etsy.

And today I'm celebrating my first repeat buyer. This is so exiting!

Usually not many buyers leave reviews and I start to think if I am good anough. But when people come back, that means something for sure!

I am celebrating going from 4 listings to 18 as of yesterday, with my 1st Anniversary in a couple of weeks! Sales are slow, but I have high hopes for the coming holiday season.

I reopened my shop on October 1st and so far have 25 sales and 95 admirers!! And thousands of favorites. I love logging on every day and even though I only get a sale once or twice a week, I'm trying really hard to get enough that I can supplement my fiances income. This month I've made enough to buy us a ton of food! :)

I'm so glad to be on the team! I love Etsy and have been involved in some capacity since the 'good old days' when it was just a little bigger than its Brooklyn roots. I am excited to say that I've made my first 10 sales! My daughter loves pink, so, in her honor my store is very pink! Next goal: add 10 more colorful listings in a week. I think I can do it!

Newish shop and have only had five (hard-earned) sales since opening in April. However, I posted something yesterday, a new product I hadn't listed before and it sold TODAY. Ok, so it was a small item, just a dog feeding mat BUT It was only listed for a day before it sold out! Very exciting! Those little victories (and all of the wonderful support I get from the Etsy community) make me think my shop might be successful someday.

I opened my shop in 2009 and every year I have an increase in sales. I actually lost my day job and decided to stay home with my family doing what I love to do -- sew! I couldn't be happier.

I'm celebrating because I have a 44% increase in sales from last year-to-date to this year-to-date. Woohoo!

I just opened my store about a month ago and I am celebrating today because I filled an entire page with listings! Woohoo! I only have 3 sales, but I am proud of adding more listings! 2nd page here I come! :)

Hi! My name is Naomi and I'm new to this team. I stated my Etsy site a while back but more recently decided what I wanted to create. It's been a whirlwind of a year and I can't wait to see how my now small business grows!

Proud and happy to say that I reached 1000 sales today. If any of my customers are reading this thread I would like to thank you for helping me to reach this milestone. My celebration is I did a show and had some sales, but more people picked up my business ETSY card and all of the sudden my sales picked up! 84 sales in total and here's to more (I hope :) .
When you do a show and there are lookers, and they sometimes pick up your card, you feel like not many will actually go online and look, but here is to changing my mind!

I just opened my shop a few weeks ago. Similar to what another post said, I had been thinking about it and talking about it for a long time. I guess I got tired of saying to other people "you should open an ETSY shop". I finally took my own advice! It was easy to open and set up. I've been very busy tagging and re-tagging, re-writing copy, adjusting prices, joining teams and having fun setting up treasuries. I had my first sale and was sooooo excited. I am trying to find my focus in what I sell, I enjoy so many different mediums, so it's still in a let's see how this goes, and let's see what sells. Keeping my focus and staying positive, looking forward to my next sale!
