This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales

I made my first sale yesterday! Yeah! I'm on my way! Gotta start somewhere!! Still have to reach my goal of 100 items in my shop...and I'm going to do it...here I go!

40 items in my shop and am aiming at have 50 by the end of the week! 23 days of my shop being open, no sale as of now, but I believe it will come soon :)

Opened up earlier this month, and we hit our 40th sale today! Every morning when I wake up, it feels like Christmas, with the excitement to go see if I have any sales, any conversations, and to study my stats. :-)

When we made our first sale, it was such an incredible feeling! Adding more designs almost daily and hoping to venture into several different target audiences, seeing the business develop and grow steadily and surely!

Beat my sales and money for last year today! My aim was to make more this year by the beginning of December but to hit it during September has put a massive smile on my face :D

Reached my goal of having 50 items in my store! I also added my first three handmade listings (I have been selling fabric). Now to plan for the holidays!

About five minutes ago, I broke my previous record for number of sales in a month. :D It was 71 in August, and I just received my 72nd for September! :D I'm pretty excited, especially considering there are still seven days (plus the rest of today) remaining!

It has been a long and sometimes painful journey, but I do believe I can see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Just yesterday I sent out 8 pieces of my art. Excited doesn't cover it. wish I would have taken a picture. I sold 4 pillow covers over fb and 4 prints here on Etsy. 2 New Mexico photograph giclees, one giclee photo to trade with another artist and one fine art giclee of a watercolor print. A record for me and so were the shipping fees. $35. with only one bought shipping box.

Hello,
I'm new to the team and one the shop "CigarDesigns". I've been open a little over a month, and haven't had a sale yet =(
I handcraft lamps made from cigar boxes, cigar tubes, and even the cigar rings. I love making these lamps, and I hope there are some people out there who would love to own them. I've received many views and many people have "favorited" my items, so I'm a little lost as to why they're not selling. I hope to become a successful shop owner on Etsy and share my own milestone one day soon =]

My Etsy milestone is pretty unique to me. After selling slowly for about a year and a have, I had given up hope and neglected my shop. With it constantly in the back of my mind, I have recently started to re-list my items and create treasury lists! It feels so great to be back with this passionate group of crafters and creators! I'm expecting a slow start, but realize it takes perseverance and a little help from friends to help my shop bloom into it's full potential!

Some milestones I had last year were having 36 sales and several of my treasury lists making it to the front page. I'm truly determined to reach 100 sales and to continue reaching out to more people on Etsy!!!

Since I opened shop in 2007 many obstacles in life had my shop take a back seat. Now over the last year i have finally been focused and dedicated to my arts and crafts. I have had many sales in the recent months. Though it isn't a huge milestone, it's still a celebration of success!

Happy happy joy joy!
We woke up this morning to see that overnight, we'd had our 60th sale! It was a gorgeous hot pink tourmaline ring. We've also got an enquiry for an Australian blue sapphire ring - what a huge week if that sells as well!!
