This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales

I will be celebrating my 6th year with etsy in December. It has been an experience watching the company grow through the years My goal now is to continue to provide great customer service and products to my buyers for many more years to come. I hope to achieve more followers, hearts and sales.

1) Have now had over 50 sales
2) Have sold one item for over US$1000 and another for over $2000
3) Now have 1000+ etsy followers for our shop

I am celebrating the recent launch of my new shop! I have been a floral designer, working hands-on in the wedding industry for over 6 years and have now went - faux! I focus on creating everlasting bouquets made of fabric. Faux bouquets are the way to go!

OK... the universe must really be smiling on us - I only posted on here a couple of days ago celebrating huge successes. Now one of our rings is sitting on the world wide front page as the image for the wedding browse section! We couldn't pay for better advertising and exposure - thank you ETSY!!!!

I finally made my first Etsy sale and I'm so excited. I have a feeling it's only going to get better from here. ;)

One of my goals for this month was to have a sale in the first week. I always seem to flatline in the first week of the month and then start doing OK. I had a good sale on Wednesday and then on Friday I had my best sale since I opened last November. A guy bought a very large custom order and two more items and yesterday he came back and bought four more. I have been walking around all weekend with a stupid grin on my face and the family think I am mad but I am so happy.

I strongly long been preparing for the opening of the store, I had to overcome a lot of obstacles (since I live in Ukraine and we have limited opportunities). I am celebrating because when I was feeling a bit low about sales for my new shop I entered the Martha Stewart American Made contest, and though the chances are slim that I will make it as a wildcard finalist; I am glad I thought outside the box and gave it a try...

Hello , I am a sewer and vintage collector and I joined Etsy at Christmas
last year. The quality on Etsy is so high and the free training and support
make for such a good site. My goal was to build something up to provide
me with some income in a few years but I opened a shop just to try and I have had 5 sales! I'm still not quite sure where I'll end up but I do know I
have learnt a lot this year and results do come with consistent effort to improve.

I have a real doll shop, and my husband sells wood works also...

I was notified by the casting agent from the TV SHOW Gags to Riches about my husband's Mongoose Cage that they found on my ETSY shop on Facebook~~!!!!!!!!!!

Ugly Baby is becoming a big Halloween hit also......
We've had a skype interview and signed papers.. ......... YAY
All we're waiting for is to get a call to BE on the show.....

I reached 100 sales milestone last month!! and that number keeps growing. I also have a bunch of ideas in my mind to keep updating my shop with new designs. Yes, I am happy.
