Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

I'm celebrating that my listings have received over 100 favourites for the month of July! Its a new record and I'm now hoping that the favourites will lead to more sales. I love having my etsy shop, each favourite or sale is the positive feedback I need to keep on trying to live my dream, thanks everyone in the etsy community :-)

I finished Etsy's Boost Your Shop Presence Seminar—better late than never! In celebration, I launched a treasury about a seeking bear composed of items offered by my peers in the seminar but I'll refrain from directly linking the treasury in honor of the no-promo spirit of this team.

Now the real work begins of applying concepts the seminar introduced me to!

I just reached my 100th sale last month, wooooo! So excited about how wonderful joining Etsy has been. I'm also just opened a second Etsy shop, so here's to celebrating when I reach the big 100 there. :)

I am very excited as I am 6 weeks away from being open for business on Etsy for a year. I have enjoyed every sale and the community support is absolutely amazing. To all you great people, you're all champions.

Just wanted to share some excitement from the past few days! On Thursday, I listed 4 really sweet primitive Raggedy Annie dolls in my shop. Sold the first doll within about 24 hours! Then early Sunday morning, Etsy time (Saturday evening my time), I sold a second one. And Sunday afternoon, I sold a third! These aren't inexpensive dolls and, when I was listing them, I wasn't sure if maybe I'd priced them too high ... but I guess I didn't. :-)

Very exciting week - just hit 30 sales. We've been open 7 months so it has been a slow start, but our items are more expensive than the average jewellery found on Etsy.
This week our shop took off with 7 sales - including two engagement rings for US$750 and $1400 each, plus some very unique wedding bands, a custom made rose gold and ruby heart pendant, a silver sapphire stacking ring set and a sterling cross all within 48 hours of eachother. It seemed like each time we turned on the computer we had another convo from an interested buyer!
It's now a busy, busy time in the workshop to process all the orders and hand make the custom jobs.

The last few months have been very busy.

In April I spun off a second etsy shop to allow me to dedicate my original shop (opened in Nov. 2011) to pop-up cards, paper-cut cards, invitations, paper tags, etc. CardNotions has just reached 1500 sales with over 500 positive reviews and my stats show that it is still growing despite the loss of most of my woodcut ornaments, which are now sold through WoodNotions, my new shop. Also, just a few days ago, CardNotions was accepted into the Etsy Wholesale program! Yay! So lots more work to do!

WoodNotions is finally showing a decent number of views and traffic from Etsy, GPLA, searches, etc. Last Thusday, the most amazing thing happen; A one-of-a-kind item sold within 15 minutes of posting! It was a stained glass and woodcut tree of life decoration. I'm feeling much better about my decision to split my original shop and feel like WoodNotions is almost ready for the holidays, when I expect to see an increase in ornament sales.

The thing that has kept me moving in the right direction, is support from teammates and keeping an eye on the forums for advice and changes.

I hit my 10,000th sale in July! It's been an amazing journey that I've never expected to experience. I've learned many tips and tricks during my 5 yrs on etsy and I am excitedly looking forward to many more. This is the greatest experience I've had in my life regarding my love of creativity and hope to continue growing here. I was able to quit my day job last July so I now can also say this is my 1st anniversary of running my business as my sole source of income. July 2014 was an amazing month for me and I just hope that I can share some of what I learned along the way with others who are striving toward the same goals!

My goal was to reach 50 sales in my first 5 months of being open, and I exceeded that goal in my 4th month, which was July!

My next goal is to reach at least 100 by the end of the year. I will be working hard by adding many more print concepts in order to do so! If I reach it, I will reward myself with a new, bigger and better, shiny printer. Fingers crossed!

Opening an Etsy shop was the best decision I ever made.

I've had my shop (and matching Facebook page) up and running since June 2014 specializing in polymer clay and beaded jewelry. As I use up my stash, I've been restocking with vintage materials and perfecting wire work techniques. I'm celebrating today because I now have 50 items in stock!

I got my 9th sale this month last month. I had y shop pen for a little over a year today. I've learned I need more items in my shop. I also learned never to be late shipping a customer's items no matter what.

I opened my shop in June, and my goal for July was to have at least 35 items posted..check!!! and of course sell more items….check!!!

So now, goal for July achieved, and more goals to meet…for August, I would love to sell more items…I am getting so much better about listing things more quickly…I would really like to have a better ratio of sales to reviews…Convos reveal that my customers are happy with their purchases, and shipping times, but no reviews…hmmmm. Something to work on.

Hi . . . I make beaded wood boxes, seashells, ornaments and anything else that can be beaded! I've been open about 4 months and am celebrating my recent sale that put me into the "I have to pay taxes now" bracket, hahahaha! I never thought I'd be happy about something like that :- )

I joined etsy in my.I made vintage leather bracelet and shamballa bead bracelets. All these are DIY. I've made 54 sales in the last three month. Even though it don't grow as I except , but I sincerely etsy family. It's a warm home to show my works to you. Thanks again.And glad to meet you all

I set a goal to have my shop restyled by the end of July. I did not succeed in doing that entirely, but I am happy with my revised texts and new banner, I hope to have new photographs by the end of August.

I've reached 70 sales today. I had been hoping to reach 100 before my shop's second anniversary but it doesn't seem likely - still, 70 feels like a good number to celebrate. :)
