This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop

I love Etsy, I'm so blessed to be in here, I start my bussiness online a year ago and I have reach 113 sales, I couldn't have more but unfortunately my production time is to time consuming and with my Facebook and etsy customers is been very difficult to grow more, I wish I have more hands,
In the beginning the shipping process was very stressful for me just because the size of my product but now my hubby is in charge. :)
Well I'm ready to reach many many more customers and grow every day more.

Last week I received an email from a local newspaper reporter who had seen my shop on Etsy. She interviewed me and the colour half page article was published last Friday. Etsy was mentioned in the article. I added a link to my 'About' section.

My name is Vinyl Jones. I opened my etsy shop in 2013 and didn't quite understand how to be noticed or promote. I'm just now venturing into the world of marketing and excited to learn, especially since I'm starting from scratch!

Had my second sale! That's the second square bangle to be sold in as many countries, and on an SEO note, it came just a DAY after completely revising my titles and tags. So important I've come to learn over the last couple months.

Our second month we made $35 more than our last! Small steps but a great victory for us!

I really appreciate how uplifting this board it, and how it is showing me that celebrating the small stuff is encouraging me to take bigger and bigger steps. This month we are advertising on two blogs for the first time..

And it happens to be my last month of pregnancy...by the end of our 3rd official month as a store, I hope to have both a baby, and another month of slightly higher revenue!

Goal #1 for July has been reached! I sold my 100th item over the weekend!

I'm approaching the 170 sales milestone, which has felt like a long time coming. I've worked so hard to obtain the number of views, hearts and sales I've earned throughout my time here on Etsy already... reaching 170 feels like such a big deal, because there have been so many times when I thought a goal like this was essentially unfathomable. But I'm still here -- still pushing forward with my shop and still loving all aspects of the process of making and marketing my jewelry. Can't wait to get closer to my milestone sales goal for 2014, which is to reach 200+ sales!

Hello all,
K from kstyledesign here. I have designed a line of table linens and something really fun happened yesterday. I got a convo and ultimately an order from a stylist who wants to use my napkins in photo shoots for their magazine "The Taste of Home" which has a circulation of 13 million subscribers. I am beyond thrilled because when you start up a new Etsy shop with a new product it's hard to know if you have a product that others are going to want!!! I'm thinking I do. How fun! k

I'm super excited this week because I have several new items to list and a few new projects I'm working on. I just listed the first new item and am keeping my fingers crossed :)

One of my treasuries made it to the front page yesterday! It was super fun to see it listed, and my stats were booming. No sales from it yet...but lots of visits and hearts. Hopefully they'll turn into sales in the future!

I just got my first review! I was waiting for one of my buyers to finally leave one.
So far it looks like the majority of my buyers actually made an Etsy account on the same day they purchased from me so they might not be regular users.

It wasn't 5 stars but I look forward to the next one!

Wow! I am just incredibly impressed and elated at the milestones I have read here!

Never thought I would do it and have always been envious of those that have ....I have to announce I have made 300 sales !!!

Another milestone to celebrate, we now have 99 listings. I still remember opening our shop with 6 listings- it has taken a while to get there but we're really pleased with our progress to now having nearly 100 items.

We are loving the Etsy community and since opening our shop here we've learnt lots about online business. We're always looking to grow and improve and learn more :)
