This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

Hello Everyone!

I opened my shop in October 2013 and in the four months my listings were active, I only made one sale!! I was feeling pretty defeated, but I decided to redo all my shop and info pages, write new descriptions and take new photographs. I have just "re-opened" my shop in the last few days and am looking forward to joining this team to get business advice from successful Etsy sellers.

One Small Success! I read in an Etsy article, top on my list of stats should be from searches. Apparently I'm learning a little something from my fellow Etsians, (thank you guys!) because yesterday that happened for me. Most of my hits came from searches! Yeah tags!

I opened my store last year with just three items. I wasn't sure what I was doing so simply let them expire and went inactive until I came back a few months ago, renovated with a new name.

I would like to celebrate my second sale this weekend. I was so excited the first time I made a sale and I was disappointed I was somewhere loud and didn't hear that iconic "ChaChing!" sound from me Etsy app.

Each sale is a motivating rush and I hope to build my inventory so I can someday do my happy dance daily! :-)

I just got my 4500th sale today. I've been eyeballing that number for a while. Now I've got my sights on 5000!

I'm appreciative that Etsy has carved a niche for vintage sellers. Recycling, reusing and re-purposing are important too, so thank you!

This June I finally opened my shop, I remeber that I listed an item several years ago, but I started listing seriously this month. And that is good for me and I hope it gets better :)

Wooo Hooo!!! I've hit my goal of 300 sales for the first half of 2014 and am on track to double sales over last year!!! :)

I opened my Etsy shop in 2007. Checked daily, nothing for a lon time, then when I actually spent more time, working it, it worked!

I celebrated my 1000 sales this year and having a lot fun. I also plan holidays 3 months in advance..so in June I am making holiday items! It's good to be prepared!

I'm celebrating getting 2 orders in one week
I've learnt that rewarding customers and offering more custom deals results in repeat business and getting recommendations - if you go the extra mile, your customers will tell their friends!

I couldn't believe when I reached 100k in sales this month. I was very happy to achieve that number as it is a huge contrast to what it was like when I first opened my etsy shop two and a half years ago. I was scared to death in the beginning. I had no experience in online sales and etsy was the perfect site to start up with. I have still yet to find a website that has such an easy format to work with. I remember being really excited when I made my first sale. It took a while to get my sales going, and at the same time it was a good thing because it gave me plenty of time to work on my listings, photos and the overall look of my shop.

I see a lot of new shops opening up on etsy and all I can say to all new entrepreneurs is congratulations! You are one step closer to becoming your own boss. It may seem like it takes forever to make your first sale, but once the ball starts rolling, it will not stop. You can make it happen! I am now teaching my sister how to work with leather and she will soon open up her own etsy shop.

Esty is a truly remarkable marketplace because it allows artisans to network with each other and has easy access to learning tools within the site, not to mention access to millions of potential customers worldwide. There is no better feeling than starting your business from the ground up and making it a success! You too can do it!

I opened my Etsy shop a couple of years ago, really started pushing this past year, and finally had my first international sale this month!!!!

AND I finally topped 200 on Facebook!!!!

I have to start off by saying I LOVE ETSY !! I have been selling here since 2011. I also buy my supplies here, doing my part to support others like myself.

Tonight I am celebrating the fact that I have NO unanswered emails :)
I have sewn over 50 items this week and shipped over 60. My eyes are crossed and my arms are sore but I got the work done .

Just the other day my revenue passed my entire 2012 revenue! And this month will be my highest monthly revenue yet at Etsy. :D

I've been open since November with very little happening the first couple of months. Then I got down to the nitty gritty in February trying my best to learn how to get found in search. I could never find my items! In March, my shop busted wide open and in June went over the 250 sales mark! It pays to read threads in the forums that are relevant to your business needs. I've asked many sellers questions and it's truly helped. Thanks so much to so many. I really appreciate it.

I just opened my shop 5 weeks ago and I have had 20 sales. I have found that the more you post about the item, the quicker it sells. It is time consuming, but so well worth it. I'm so glad I took the chance and started my business

I have been open for 3 years, and just received my 110th sale. I am happy to say that things are going well for me. I know jewelry sales are difficult but I'm happy with my successes. I really have sold many more items, but many of my listings are priced for 4 or 7 of the same item, so were only counted as one sale. Either way, I have already doubled what I made in the first 6 months of this year compared to last year. Congrats to Bria who had 20 sales in 5 weeks It took me 2 years!!

We are within $50 of reaching our June sales goal but what has been even more meaningful (at this point in our early Etsy career ) is the wonderful growing positive feedback we are receiving from our customers....Many challenges to come with our vintage shop but we will listen to you road warriors out there and hopefully continue to learn the ins and outs of this sometimes strange online business...
