This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer

I feel so blessed here at Etsy!! I can sell vintage items and with all the different artist I explore so many area's of crafting that I never thought I could do. I have fun making them, then list them, then sell them ...Heck they were just fun to make.

I had my first custom order last week. It went so well, and it was such fun to create something exclusive for a client. The customer gave me a fantastic, stellar review, too. Wow!

Just the other day I was featured in a front page treasury. So awesome. I jumped to over 400 views in an hour. So excited. I hope that some of my treasuries will be featured as well so I can highlight great shops.

I started working with teams two weeks ago, and this week I've had two sales!! I was going months without sales, so im certain the team activity is helping. And super excited and motivated now!!!

Successful work with my etsy team Deadhead Art Alliance... 25 member team quilt collaboration finished and ready to show and we got accepted to the Haight Ashbury Street fair.. if any of you are in SF come say Hi! Hi everyone,

I am new to this team and my shop is fairly new, 3 months old since I re-opened it. I tried in 2011 but closed because it was not successful and I was out of work.

I do need more work or for this shop to be more successful as I work part time.

Anyway, I recently this month received my 2nd sale, actually my first real sale since a friend did the first one for me. Even friends are out of work and have no money.

I was so excited about this sale and made sure I sent the item out quickly as requested and got back to the customer with tracking details.

I just had a message back from him today that he received it OK and the person he bought it for loved it! It means a lot to me that you can bring some joy into someone else's life and I let him know that.

I do wish, however, that all of the favoriting would turn into more sales. It seems like a lot of people like my shop and items, even featuring them in treasuries, but do other Etsy people also buy items much from each other?

I have purchased items from quite a few other shops on here as I love to see all the beautiful things people make!

If anyone has any suggestions please send them to me.

I'm always so excited to have a reason to re-visit this thread with good news... and tonight I'm celebrating that I passed sale no. 4000 tonight!!! I am so grateful to my beautiful and fabulous customers (and repeat customers!) who continue to support my creative endeavors. Each customer is a precious gem, and should always be treated like one!

Lots to do yet, It has been slowly but surely turning into a real business from a hobby but it is happening!

I achieved four of my goals, yay! My designs were featured on the runway of Raw Denver last thursday! Plus I had my own booth at a trade show and I made my first etsy sale recently as well. I also go my first shop review and it's a really good one.

Hello all :) I opened my shop mid-April, and last week I had one customer buy 7 of my items! My store actually looks sad now with very little inventory! But it's a good sad :) Here's to hoping that my items will reach more lovely customers, and the same to all here!

I just reached 100 sales!! Now I'm ready to get to 200:) I've had so much fun this past year creating items for my store, and I have a lot more to do. I would love to have 60 items for sale, but I just reached 30 and I'm proud of that.

Today I have reached more than 30 views...which is a lot for me. Back before I went on vacation mode, I had about 50 -60 views per day. For months after going on and then off of vacation mode, I've had maybe 8 views a day. I am starting to list again and be more active over all and today have scored more views that I have in months. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's a hooray for me!
