This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer

I got my first online sale last Friday! I learned so much the sale so I adjusted some things. I am also selling at a booth and having my own fashion show in two weeks! That was one of my goals.

Im brand new here and just had my first sale TODAY! Still doing my cha-ching dance. Now if my other shop would get a sale I'll be doing backflips. Then my shops will be on vacay while I lay in traction in the hospital....

Celebrating a record number of views (131) and favorites (250) in one day. My husband just laughs at me because they're not sales, but I know it's the result of "spreading Etsy love", and I'm sure the sales will come soon enough.

I've had sale number 2 today! Very excited as it's my first through twitter, all this flipping social media circus might just be worth it after all! Also I've reached 30 items in my shop and growing daily :)

My earrings made it to the front page this week!! I'd had a treasury featured on the FP, but this was the first time that my jewelry was featured. YIPPEE!!! :D

Celebrating 5 fabulous years selling painted rocks on Etsy! Sales have been up and sales have been down but sales always happen on Etsy! Love Etsy - this includes all the vendors and all the fabulous customers on Etsy.
oh! and the computer nerds who create and run this fabulous machine! you know who you are!
and to think - I saw Etsy for the first time on Martha Stewart! back in 2009!

I just got my first order from a customer in Italy who brought two pairs of earrings. Very happy to be breaking into a new market country wise :)

This month is my 2 year anniversary and I got 700 sales.
I recently open a new store so it's happy new bug inning and celebration togeter.

Ive already doubled my revenue AND THEN SOME from last year. My shop has been open for nearly 23 months and I just now feel like it is coming together. Ive been working hard on improving my Etsy shop this month. All of this is cause for celebration!

I'm really excited about 2 things:
1. My graduation cupcake toppers are featured on the front page of the graduation gifts section!
2. I just got more official with my shop in that I started a business account at my bank just for this. It's a pretty big step! :)

I had a really lovely weekend, trading on a vintage train carriage (apparently where they filmed Poirot) on the Nene Valley Railway and I turned 40 last Sunday! Although I didn't do much business, probably due to wet weather, I did hand out a lot of cards and have met some ladies who are interested in collaborating with me on the Aether Nomad project - Tribal Steampunk, a global, co-creative artistic idea that sprang from the little listing story snippets that go with my Etsy creations!

I have also been featured in an interview that I did with ByElsieB recently: byelsieb.com/mummy-who-makes-sally-ann-livingston/

I've another interview to do with the Spanish author of MundoSteampunk.net and so my social network seems to be blossoming :) May many sales follow!

I opened Treat Street Bakery just this week, and I landed a sale my first day open. I'm thrilled! I also just received my first custom order request to help a dog with severe allergies. All pups should have treats, so I'm going to drum up a recipe for her so that she may experience the joy of a treat. Congrats to everyone as you celebrate your milestones, large or small!

Last week, I had a writer from one of the local newspapers contact me. She had found my photography shop on Etsy through a local search, and we did a short Q&A session that was published in the McKinney Courier Gazette. Not a huge readership, but still honored. Plus, in a town with over 100K people, I am hoping others will find it.
