This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order

This is the type of thread that makes my heart smile! I officially opened shop and posted items on January the 22nd of this year. My first 2 sales were to acquaintances, and both were on the same day about a month later! Then, shortly after a very wonderful lady on the forums gave me a great boost of confidence and gave my art a chance. So far I'm at 4 sales almost 3 months in and 4 is better than none so I'll take it :). I wish everyone great success, and am confident that things will pick up soon! Happy selling!

I wanted to reach 100 before my shop was 1 year old and made it!

I joined The Artisan Group last year and participated in a gifting to the stylist of CW's Hart of Dixie. Didn't think much of it because I never heard back if my earrings made it to the show or not. Sunday morning, I had an email from a fellow member of the group telling me my earrings were in the previous night's episode. So I watched it and there they were. My Cancun Sunset earrings were right there on the screen in the opening sequence of the show being worn by a fortune teller. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!

I just hit 22 sales last week!! I've been selling so much in April that I desperately needed to restock - so I added more listings yesterday + I'm back at 20 items listed :) Must. Make. More! Not a bad problem to have ;)

I celebrated this year (being the start of my third year), by reaching 166 sales of my jewelry last year!
You have to constantly keep your store image with you as you mingle, and use the etsy site for your web presence and find a brick and mortar place to show your items off, when your followers need to find you...

I just won this week's Treasury challenge for a team I belong to - the Vintage Etsy Society Street Team (Vesties)! Now my one of my items will be featured in each of the team treasuries this week. I never win anything so I'm excited!
