This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer

Very inspiring to read everyone's successes- I just opened my shop today, and have already sold 3 items- which seems amazing to me! I I haven't even had time to figure out what else I need to do on Etsy- just made my first Treasury- boy, going to work tomorrow is going to be tough! Maybe I can be a PJ seller one day :)

I opened my shop June 9th and already have 6 sales, one of them a custom hand painted cap I sent to Australia! I did not expect to sale anything this quickly and so many wonderful shops are behind what I'm doing which makes the drive that much stronger. I'm also inspired by so many wonderful shops here on etsy.
This has been a wonderful platform for me and my will to be successful as a creative. After mad research and spending sleepless nights reading the Etsy Success Handbook, I learned so much and continue to make changes as often as I can. Thank you to etsy for giving us so much information and keeping us motivated to keep pushing on.

I just started in September 2013. A had a few sales for Christmas but was getting discouraged this month. I asked for help in the Forum Discussion and took members advice. I improved my pictures and tags. To my delight this week I made two sale-6 products. Can't wait to see what all positive feedback seasoned sellers will offer me and where it will take my shop.

In order to expand my business, raise the money to buy my own laser cutting machine and rent a larger studio space, I'm doing an Indiegogo campaign. Sometimes it takes a village…and this “crowd funding” site is a great way for lots of people to support me as I take my next step. Any contribution that feels right to you is greatly appreciated, and will help me meet my goal. And if you know people who would like these products, please feel free to pass this on to them.

Also, MAKE magazine has published an article called, "My Quest to Turn Smart Craft into a Sustainable Business." They asked me to tell my story about making laser cut cardboard products over the past year. I'd love to hear your comments:

An amazing day!
I opened my Etsy shop a few months ago. At the end of last year I made my first international sale, and …I saled two of my Indian ink original drawings in one time! I got really surprised, it seems that my very personal and engaged items work much better than the others, what it is very special for me. My work is something really intimate and I always doubt if somebody will be able to understand it.
I want to celebrate that my buyers repeat. Today, the same person who bought those two inks, has bought another one.
It is encouraging to find someone who understand your work specially after the work to open a shop needs and the effort you make.
I wish you all many amazing days and to achieve it, we have to keep working, a lot of perseverance and hard work.
