This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media
• You recently opened your shop

I almost made my goal of 600 sales by January 1st. I made it to 599 and had my 600th ON January 1st so I am celebrating!!!. Here is to a successful 2014 for us all!!!

Have found great friends on Etsy. Have been fun sharing stores with others. The great thing is when they tell us that we had helped them get the word out about their store. Yay!!

Huzzah! I finally hit 50 sales in December and have just posted it off....as it sold when I went into hospital with a bad case of sinusitis. I'm much better now and looking forward to celebrating my shop's second anniversary in February. I'm determined to hit the 100 (and beyond!) mark this year!

Its only the 3rd but we have had 1 sale per day. Not too shabby for 2014!

Last few days I was working very hard to list more than 50 items from Spring2014 wedding collection, and this morning I woke up with one sale and two custom order requests. If you keep in mind, that in December I got 1 sale, this is pretty AWESOME. I hope it will keep going this way.
Hard work must repay.

My goal is 100 sales! I have had the most sales in one week this past holiday, and December has been my best month yet. Hoping for the sales to continue in the new year!

I'm celebrating reaching 500 sales! My goal was 500 in a year and I've only been open since March so I'm really, really pleased. Happy New Year to you all.

We are yet to experience our first sale, however this week we have reached 100 favourites.....so we are quite pleased with this ♥

We must now work on adding more handmade beach clothes to our shop....

I reached 200 sales end of November and Just yesterday I hit 300....Super excited for 2014!!!

The exposure on Etsy is great, even though I have my own website. I've had an opportunity to advertize in the January edition of Vogue UK, Conde Nast Traveller in the Feb edition Gold Standars edition and In Style in March.

Just realized this morning that both my etsy shops, BoxesSquared and Crudeco celebrate a etsyversary this month.

Crudeco - 2008
and BoxesSquared (ecovintagevegan) - 2009

There are certainly slow months for both shops but the steady stream has been encouraging and I continue to support the site and teach others in my community how to start their own etsy shop.

My daughter and I opened our shop at the end of December. We are quite excited to be working on this together! It will be a fun thing to keep us connected while she is several hundred miles away at school. We are still working on getting the word out but hope sales will pick up for the new year.

I have opened my shop since December 2013, however I didn't have any sell,but I hope to find more fans and followers and put more articles in my shop. My goal should be 100 for 2014! What do you think?

I am new to Etsy and just started having the free time to concentrate on listing more items and finding new ways to market my store. I am celebrating the 8 sales I have had in 4 months...6 coming in the last week that I have been really putting effort in marketing my products. I love the Etsy atmosphere and I am having fun curating treasuries that include so many wonderful creative artist that I have discovered here. Very encouraging to see all the sales you guys have made. Congrats!!!!

I am celebrating the fact that I am still here and happy with all of my achievements in life no just the ones on Etsy.

I did well enough in 2013 to expand my sales goal, and wound up only being 4 sales shy of the goal by the end of the year. It's a really great feeling and I'm so optimistic about 2014. Wishing all of you lots of luck in relation to meeting your shop goals!

Today is my one year Etsy Anniversary! And I now got (finally) 200 listings in my shop! :)

I reached my tenth sale last week. I know it's a tiny figure but I started on Etsy this year expecting to sell nothing so ten sales for me is amazing!!
Can't wait to see what 2014 will bring.

Congrats on your ten sales, Zara. Not everyone sells in volume, there is a huge variety in how much time it takes to make certain items.
